  1. Have you tried using a different browser, say Chrome?
  2. On my November cruise, which is now paid in full, the amount shown as owing is the balance between my OBC and the excursions I have booked.
  3. Don’t pay now, wait until you pay the final balance. Once you’ve booked excursions they appear to stay on your booking. I booked a number through a UK Azamara agent - some were on a cruise for February and I was told that my OBC could not be applied yet, but not to worry about that, they would stay booked.

  6. Try ringing them - the girl I spoke to could see my & my husbands level and was happy to email me a screenshot.
  7. Just had an email from the Azamara Agent I spoke to yesterday, telling me she has been able to reserve the other two excursions for me, and when I looked I can see them on my account. Maybe I’ve just been lucky, but I’m very impressed with the responsiveness of the young lady I spoke to - she followed up everything we discussed and has emailed me several times to confirm what she has done and that she has escalated the issue with my husbands wrong email address to IT. Can’t ask for more!
  8. Have you tried ringing. Yesterday I got through to the Weybridge number straight away ringing at 2pm (they don’t open until 10am). What I found reassuring was that the agent I spoke to could see all our accounts on her screen and she sent me an email which included a screen shot of her screen showing my husbands loyalty level (which shows as zero in his account on the website).

  10. Interestingly three of the excursions I booked are on my booking, the other two not. I’m thinking that the issue is to do with the source of the OBC. I have $600 ‘promotion’ OBC and $700 from the Experience More Indulgence package (which I haven’t yet paid for - I’ll pay my TA along with my final balance). I’m not too worried as I know it will be sorted out eventually. The Azamara agent I spoke to didn’t ask me to pay anything so I’m not sure why TAs would do so. Here in the UK our call centre seems to be good. I rang yesterday at 2pm and got through immediately.
  11. Very puzzled by this exchange. I certainly haven’t been aware of tired crew on any recent cruise nor have I ever been turned away by Shorex staff when no-one was with them. We’ve had issues raised, either with guest relations or on the mid cruise form, dealt with very quickly, with apologies given. We’ve also come across some absolutely brilliant service ‘stars’ who went way out of their way to make our cruise feel really special.

  14. Just had a look at the itinerary on the website for the Capetown to Canaries in February 24 and it says we are docked in St Helena, rather than tendered.

Just rung Azamara to book excursions and discuss the fact that my husbands account has the wrong reference number, shows his status as Preview instead of Discoverer and doesn’t show his upcoming cruises. I got through straight away at 2pm. The agent said that on her screen his account is correct - right number and right status. She then asked me what email address he uses to sign in and we discovered that they have an incorrect email address for him. She’s going to find out how to amend it, which should sort it out, I hope. I was also able to book excursions during the phone call.
  16. Same here. I rang to book excursions mostly using OBC. I got through immediately at 2pm. The agent could see my OBC, and was able to apply it to my excursion for one cruise - in fact I expected to pay something, but was told I had more OBC than I thought. For the second cruise, she booked all the excursions for me, but for some reason was unable to apply the OBC to them. She said she would talk to her supervisor and get back to me, but not to worry as the excursions were definitely booked.
  17. We take thermal mugs for sea days, so I can take Mosaic coffees up to Deck 11 where you will usually find us in sunny climes.
  18. Thanks for replying. The places you found crowded are generally places we don’t use much on the ship. We eat lunch at the Patio most days (even when it’s cooler ‘cos they use the heaters). We only tend to use the Living Room in the afternoons, we prefer the Den or Discoveries bar before dinner. We have had a similar experience with immigration - it was done in the Cabaret and staggered, but was still a bit of a bun fight. We’ve been cruising with Azamara for 10 years (11 cruises) and haven’t seen a deterioration, other than things due to supply shortages. We have two more booked, so obviously are happy with them. Maybe we’ve been lucky, or maybe you were unlucky. - or both!
  19. There is quite a big room service menu in the information folder and during dining room hours you can ask for items from the days dining room menus. The breakfast cards are separate. They list a whole variety of breakfast items. You tick off what you want, select a half hour time slot (from 6:30am I think), and write your name and cabin number of the front, then hang it on the outside cabin door handle at bedtime. As I said previously we order tea & fruit juice every morning, as there is no kettle in the room & we like to start the day with a hot drink. Incidentally we always take our own ‘Yorkshire Tea’ bags with us too.
  20. Never been on Onward - don’t think I want to! Not had cards left on bed every night for the last few cruises. Sometimes left on desk, especially first few nights, mostly available in back of information folder.
  21. Yes they have access to a TA booking site, but the invoice wasn’t on there as a document.. She had to ask them to email the document to her.
  22. Interesting that you mention crowding. That’s one thing I’ve never experienced on Azamara. Just wondering what the occasions were for this.
  23. On occasion when I’ve used all the cards up that were in the cabin, I’ve helped myself to a few from the stewards trolley 🤭
