  1. The showers in the CC Suites are large. The others are small, but manageable. My husband is a big chap - 6foot & not thin, but he manages fine.
  2. We’re looking forwards to our two booked cruises in November & February. We’ve had two cruises post COVID and enjoyed both. My account was initially wrong but has now been corrected. My husbands is still wrong but Azamara assure me they have his correct information - it looks like his email address got corrupted in the data transfer. I too have rung the UK office, got through straight away and was able to book all the excursions I wanted to and was assured they didn’t have to be paid for until my OBC can be applied, so no worries!
  3. Did you pay by credit card? If so then try a chargeback on the card.
  4. If there are empty cabins once you get on board (someone may have cancelled) you may be able to upgrade at a price. It may also be worth ringing them to see if they can put you on a wait list for any other cabins that come available through cancellations.
  5. Cabins on Deck 7 are quieter than Deck 8 as they are between two floors of cabins.
  6. I think it’s wise to have paper and/or digital evidence of all payments made, OBC, any other purchases (packages/Wifi etc) and loyalty level.
  7. Yet I was able to book one excursion online a couple of months ago for my November cruise without going thro’ my TA. Seems to be quite haphazard what works & what doesn’t.
  8. I too replied to your other post. I would try ringing Weybridge again & see if you can speak to someone else, as I got different information from the agent I spoke to.I wonder if the issue may be to do with the cruise balance having not yet been paid. For my November cruise, for which the final balance has been paid, my excursions came out of my OBC leaving a small amount to be paid. Once I paid that online, there is now no outstanding balance.
  9. Yet I am booked through a travel agent, but had no problem booking excursions by telephone with an Azamara agent in the UK a couple of weeks ago. Very strange, seems like the right hand doesn’t know what the left hand is doing.
  10. Not what I was told. My cruise is in Feb next year, so I was told it was too early to apply the OBC, which includes $700 from the Indulgence package. The Azamara agent I spoke to said I could book the excursions, but not pay yet and they would stay on my booking until the OBC could be applied. They’ve been there for a couple of weeks and are still there.
  11. To save you scrolling through lots of pages here’s the link to the spreadsheet again https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/15Deg-GaeZYLml8NN3PVwoh_jUkQ8QmYUe1wxnVAlODE/edit
  12. I think the differences started when Pursuit started - for a while there seemed to be a Pursuit way of doing things, rather than the Azamara way.
  13. Golly, very different from how he was with us, but we did meet him with Ryszard on our previous cruise when he was learning the ropes, so maybe the fact that he knew our faces helped.
  14. You don’t have to pay the full amount, you can just leave it on your account until the OBC can be applied to it - that’s what the agent told me, and my excursions for next February are sitting there on my account. I will wait until after my November cruise before sorting out how to apply my OBC to them. I presume it will either be through the method explained previously (and in the email I got today) of looking for the OBC option in the list of excursions, or by ringing up.
  15. Although I booked through a travel agent, I have managed to book excursions myself both on the website and by phone. I used the website to book an excursion for our November cruise and the amount outstanding was correct once our outstanding OBC had been applied. I was able to pay it online. For our Feb 24 cruise I rang Azamara in the UK - the Weybridge number. I got through straight away and was able to book the excursions I wanted. The agent wasn’t able to apply my OBC to them at that time, but assured me the excursions were booked and will sit on my booking until the OBC can be applied.
  16. Interestingly, we’ve never had an ice bucket on 11 cruises! We did notice the fridge had nothing in it on the last cruise, but prefer that to having to ask the room steward to take stuff away so we’ve room to put water bottles in there. My loyalty points got sorted out when I booked anew cruise a few weeks ago, but my husbands are still wrong, but after a discussion with an Azamara agent to book excursions that has now been escalated to IT to sort out.
  17. Oceania has the same size showers in its 4 ‘R’ class ships, but they have put doors on them, so instead of moving the curtain with your elbows, you bash them on the door! We’ve done 11 cruises on Azamara, none in Suites, so all with the small shower. We honestly have no problem with them. Yes they’re small, but perfectly adequate for us.
  18. That looks a great one, hope we get that too in February
  19. Interesting, I hope we get one there too!
  20. Sour Capetown to Canaries cruise doesn’t seem to have one either. I guess it counts as a transatlantic. Can’t think where they might have it anyway!
  21. On your account under upcoming cruises, if you click on the cruise concerned, then scroll down to excursions you should see a paper & pencil icon, click on that & you should see ‘booked’ and ‘available’ excursions
  22. Your status will have stayed in place, it’s a website issue. My husbands account is wrong too, he’s down as being Preview with no points, whilst I’m Discoverer! When I rang Azamara to book some excursions I discussed this with the Azamara Agent and we discovered that his email address had got changed during the IT handover. The agent referred the issue to their IT department for me.
  23. Please can you let me know how you can see the number of free cabins. When I go into look at a cruise I can only see a limited number of the available cabins. I must be missing something.
  24. You can get $300 per cruise OBC for booking back to backs - you need to fill in a form to request it. The loyalty points earned per day per cabin are clearly set out on Azamara’s website https://www.azamara.com/gb/azamara-circle (top left menu, Booked Guests, Azamara Circle)
