  1. As far as I’m aware all cruise lines will offer this. Obviously they will expect you to pay the going market rate for the cabin you choose.
  2. Did Lisbon to Rio on Pursuit in autumn 2019. Flat calm and lovely weather all the way, except for a days rain when we got to Brazil. We’re doing the same trip in reverse in a week & hoping for similar weather.
  3. Regarding captions - insert one photo then hit return a couple of times the insert a caption before inserting the next photo.
  4. Except that the 8 September cruise this year is Southampton to Lisbon, not Venice
  5. it’s OK for only 1 person in a stateroom to buy a package.
  6. On the other hand if you use air miles to upgrade to business class flights it makes sense to use a credit card that gives you them, which is what we do.
  7. Recoleta is very easy to get to on your own by taxi. We spent a lovely hour or two there a few years ago.
  8. The FAQ’s in the New Ownership Update are very clear. As a Captain's Club member, will I continue having status and points with Azamara if I have only ever sailed with Celebrity? Yes. Celebrity past guests will continue to have status points with Azamara if they only sailed with Celebrity until February 1, 2023. After February 1, 2023, Celebrity Cruises-acquired points will only be protected and transferred to our new program if you have sailed on and completed a sailing with Azamara by that date. This information has been there for a long time.
  9. On our cruises the second desk has either been in Discoveries bar or close to the entrance to the Den on Deck 5. There is always a desk on Deck 9 just inside the entrance to Windows buffet.
  10. In the UK a King is 5ft (152cm) and a SuperKing is 6ft (182cm), a Double is 4ft 6ins (137cm) and a Queen is 4ft (122cm).
  11. And I just managed to find the answer in ‘Tips for Azamara Newbies’ and the tape measure said 172cm about 5ft 8inches, nearly SuperKing size.
  12. I’m sure this has been discussed before, but does anyone know or remember how wide the ‘Queen’ sized bed is on Azamara.
  13. Thanks & congratulations. All added to spreadsheet. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1pEoojQ5-EPmD4cI3gw1dVcYfYTXfZePdDXxU09l0H3M/edit
  14. You would have to pay a corkage fee if you want to drink your own alcohol in a public room, but not if it’s in your cabin.
  15. We’re interested too as we join Pursuit when you leave her, 7 March. We’re doing the transatlantic from Rio to Lisbon.
  16. Since COVID, boarding is usually from 2pm. When you check-in on your account on the Azamara website you can choose a time. To register an account on the Website, click on My Account then on Create an Account.
  17. Thanks Ivi, I assume this was in South America - how long was it?
  18. Hi Ivi Can you tell me which cruise this was on - date & where it was, also how much you bid, so I can add the information to the spreadsheet. thanks Denise
  19. I think that having the Atlas bar will encourage people to buy the Ultimate package, so will increase drinks revenue.
  20. We live in North Ferriby, I’ve lived here on and off since I was 4. Nick grew up in Hessle and we both went to school in Hull. Its a small world, isn’t it! Looking forwards to meeting you in March!.
  21. Thanks, added to spreadsheet. I think you’re right about 7 March cruise - I was surprised at the invitation to bid.
  22. Thanks, added to the spreadsheet. We’re on that cruise too & also made an upgrade bid. Fingers crossed for us both. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1pEoojQ5-EPmD4cI3gw1dVcYfYTXfZePdDXxU09l0H3M/edit
