When they announced that they are starting to charge for the 3rd Entrée it was stated that you could order half portions. I had gastric sleeve 8 years ago and can only eat a small amount of food. For example, I can eat a Guys burger without the bun and a few fries. I will be really full afterword. I was really looking forward to half portions.

I was on the Miracle a couple of weeks ago and I tried to order a half portion of the entrée and our waiter looked at me like I was crazy. He told me they didn't do half orders. So I every night I only ordered the entrée, no appetizer or desert. The waiter brought me an extra lobster on elegant night. I guess he thought I was crazy for only ordering 1. Has anyone had success in ordering half portions?

Let me clarify. The app works without purchasing the internet plan. You still have to connect to Carnival wifi internet. Make sure you are on airplane mode.

You can avoid the fee if you download the money at a slot machine to your players bank. At the tables tell them you want chips off of your player bank account. Just remember to play a couple of spins on the slot machine first otherwise after 2 times they will lock your card. The casino manager will have to unlock it and he/she will tell you to play the slot a couple of times first.

on the Miracle they removed the casino bar last October and added more slot machines. There is a non smoking side for table games but it is still close to the smokers so some days the smoke was heavy.

last week on the miracle the app didn't update the points everyday. I think it is a system problem.

I was also on the miracle last week and was handed $1000 in cash. I played it all on the table games. There was a long list of players being handed cash on that cruise.

Out of Galveston, we were told we had to wait until the casino opened for drinks everywhere. We didn't try to purchase a drink before then, so we don't know for sure. Out of Long Beach we were able to use it as soon as we boarded.

Plus to get the cash off of the players bank they have to present the card at the cashiers cage and they will swipe it and see the picture. Same if trying to get chips at the tables. No way the card was used in the casino.

Don't forget they have special drawings in the casino most nights for elite cruisers only. I am always amazed at how many names are called and they are not in the casino to claim the prize.

table games rate you by your average bet and time spent at the tables. I typically will gamble more money than my wife, but she gets better offers because she does the slots. I only do the table games. However, after going on 3 cruises, August 2021, December 2021, May 2022, my offers were equal hers after the may cruise. Also on the table games, the amount you bet on the bonus bets do not count toward your rating.

I have been cruising with carnival since 2006 and don't remember ice buckets ever being filled without asking. I think a lot of people are making a big deal out some of the Carnival cut backs. Some of these things are not a big deal. Do you really need twice daily room cleaning and turn down service. Plus the other cruise lines, RCL, NCL are doing the same things.

you do not get any casino points for the texas hold em poker. You do use your sail and sign card and this creates a poker account. This account is different than your casino account. So if you play table games and slots and poker you need to cash out both accounts. You can load money on the card with cash at the cage or from your sail and sign account. Every once in a while the casino host will come by and buy drinks for the table playing poker.

When I was there in November of 2019 they took them down because of the hurricane Dorian. I guess they haven't put them back up yet?
