we never felt like Guests in QM2 were stuffy..ours was a short cruise not a TA. At our assigned dinner table ( not in the grills) we sat with others who were well travelled, smartly dressed and very interesting.
We enjoyed the shows and classical music on board...and there was a very lively late night club. You will have a great time!
Will you post a bit here,?
good choice.. similar to our Wyndham hotel, but a bit nicer.
. We did not have any strip malls just aging motels.. sounds like you did well for your needs
BON VOYAGE!
sad photo for us..Remnants of our once favorite Specialty Rest. It us no longer but seems they are using the space for Elite breakfast..jow was that? plated or buffet style?
We stayed Wyndam Garden..Dania Beach..very pricey..It was right on the main highway..N. Federal Hwy. There were sidewalks, but lots of traffic.
Walkable to a nice local restaurant/ bar go there! ( I willook it up). but not much else nearby. Dinner at the hotel not appealing at all and the breakfast buffet was quite expensive..ugh!
We had just bagels and coffee for breakfast at the hotel & checked out soon as we could . It was convenient to drive to the port but nothing like the 27th St hotel area where there are stores and many placrs to eat. Dania has not aged well!
A recent post..maybe by Cruisestich said the waiting area in Boston was very spartan. If I recall correctly . photo showed Bridge chairs in an ugly room..
As I suggested on another thread . contact Special Needs..that Dept will assist and accomdate.. and then u can follow up with the maitre d once as soon as you board.
Last time there, a theft occurred early in the day..a phone. They closed access.. turns out it was someone associated with a band!
Used to travel to Haiti..patents dud charity work. The Haitian people are beautiful..but gangs that loot & kill are not! We won't go there anytime soon.
