With a special diet, it might be better to pick one dining rm for dinner and try for same staff who can cater to any special needs.. it is mostly the decor that differs.
Hope you get a credit for the gross conditions..Soubds like a third class motel! EWWW.
Will not add Millie, Infinity or Connie to our list any time soon.
Not sure what's up with Summit.. must have been updated .
We loved it in the Carib and RT to Hawaii yrs ago.. Last time we were on it for a Bermuda cruise, it was sadly in need of an upgrade..and needed to get rid of the flies in the lounge dead and alive
After reading comments still hope our 4 day on Silho will not attract a loud and shouty boozy crowd. We prefer the usual varied Celebrity demographic.. something for everyone on board.
We are booked for Specialty dining and port excursions so may not be an issue.. go with the flow!
glad it worked out. with the limitations noted.
just curious if SPA hydration qpuld be the same as a medical service
our friend's son has this done at lical hosp..outpatient center.. seems to take a few hours when he goes???
Agree! Noticeable decline in decorum.
Hope our short Carib cruise on Silhouette is not like that! We have 2 ports ( not Coco Cay) & just want to relax before Xmas!
if you can book and prepay (incl grat) you can reserve the day and time you prefer Otherwise they will have openings but quite possibly at times that are not ideal...
Be careful with Covid.. We just lost a friend who was weak and frail from something else..got Covid. He could not fight it off .. Treat as needed but approach with care!
thank you for this post and standing up for cruisers! we hace cruised with various group.. motorcycle folks were great, but some others did impact us alot more. A large deaf group with sign interp were the focus at every venue and activity & we felt left out. Another group had elevs exclusive for use by their group run manually on Shabbat.. thus reducing use by .others..and crowds waiting! We enjoyed a group of ballroom dancers..
Point is..just post a list!
That Room should be well marked as having an issue. It won't get better! Maybe put staff there.
We had a cabin once in a normal location but it had a constant back and forth whooshing noise. We stuck with it, but learned it had something to do with flow in and out of pool or hot tub.
Also had one with very loud 24/7 air flow noise from a vent.. We were told it was part of the ship's ventilation system. We lived with it..
We were told Cabins where there is nothing on the deck plan but an empty box across the hall have something to do with the stacks..very noisy.
Just luck of the draw.. Guess we could make a list of Excuses by Celebrity! Gad OP and others got relief! Sometimes you are just SOL.
on Ascent in Jan it was LOUD and jumpy... style of CD staff
other venues had a great variety..high quality.. acoustic, rock, jazz, pop and a great act playing live island style music. he was outstanding
On a Royal C cruise on Brilliance, PW took over the main atrium area for the art by day..Turned to small chaos when unruly pre teens spilled choc syrup over the railing onto the scene.!
Pool would be iffy due to weather & solarium environment might be bad for so called "art".
Jim Lain..great job, Gentle Stairs with rails is a good way to describe.
Use of the chairs can be a drawn out process, needing extra staff and clearance esp in hot tubs,, But if not in a rush..we have seen it work more than once
Toasted bagel takes the hockey puck feeling away.. I can only have 1/2 anyhow..carb count.. Toasted with a cream cheese shmear, lox, onion, tomato, capers..that's a NY Bagel.
Hope it helps.
I do toe heel stretches on the door saddle of bthrm..good stretch. I have a nerve issue called Mortons Neuroma.. I also use Yoga Toes! ( no high heels anymore!)
