  1. Took me forever to log in today so hope this post works. We already have the colorized ship model of EDGE..for #1 grandson. Now that we have # 2 grandson, we would like the same from BEYOND when we sail in Nov. Can someone on board or going soon let us know if this model is available in the store on BEYOND... thank you..
  2. ,Cancelling was the right thing. People, please do not fly unless you are 100% sympton free and isolated for the 10 days. We most likely caught Covid on our way home from Florida....on the flight or in the airport. We flew home on a Wed. I felt quite sick by Sat.. then my husb was sick. Both of us have tested pos. ( his test at a walk in..mine at home) . We were surprised. Now we have to isolate for 10 days. He is missing work, golf etc. We will also miss grandparents day at day care.. can't babysit or see them at all. We have fairly mild cases, no fever, but still not well...No meds and told not to re test. Our Life is disrupted...but would hate to ever pass this along!
  3. Last we saw..quite awhile ago...rockers were lined up along the Ramp in EDEN..
  4. Keep in mind that the Water included in the basic package is in the grey plastic btls. It is not Spring water and many find it awful tasting, others do not mind. We find it ugh! We have a package but will bring on some spring water and buy whatever we can on board..
  5. Love all the photos...esp the Wild Gardens of Acadia And if course, ones of the two of you having fun!
  6. There are sometimes ship's excursions offered for those with limited mobility. Vans have lifts, smaller groups, and often a tour that does not require getting on and off at numerous stops. Maybe Celeb spec needs dept can help or excursion dept,
  7. The SV, esp middles, are worth waiting for.. staterooms are larger than the IVs and have an oversized outdoor aft balcony. March is not that far out,,popular new ship and itun! Maybe a TA can help if they have SV or suites on hold in their inventory???
  8. Hope we can still have our E + perk of free minutes. That's enough for us and we would not pay more just to have faster e mail or any e mail
  9. Rain and beating sun are variables..the pathways are narrow. We drop off one of us with the luggage and carryons. Dh circles back to park and then walks back to ship entrance . If not overloaded you could walk with wheelie luggae. But is not just right across the street. The design was all about making a fancy suites waiting area but nothing changed for parking. Busses and cabs are easier!
  10. airport is the least appealing to ys.,even with suutcases 17th street has many choices from bagels to hotels with a nice menu.,and close to stores for wine purchases and last minute items
  11. We have been required to buy the Cekeb cruise ins separately for awhile now. Not convenient and not wrapped into funal payment. And when we cancelled to lift and shift during Covid times...no refund! Now we just buy an independent policy for medical and evac..better coverage and service!
  12. Good to know. Maybe next time we will look into this option. This time around we will drive from Venice..one night stay at a pre cruise hotel and paking at the port ..pain in the neck!
  13. What a great great link! The photos are wonderful...everything BEYOND! Thank you for the link.. Le Voyage did not look very appealing physically but the menu there must be the big attraction. We decided not to try and book there... Glad to see pics and menus of luminae..and Le Bistro..our go to lunch favorite!
  14. https://boards.cruisecritic.com/topic/2809137-celebrity-beyond-november-082022/page/4/ Sailaway get together is planned...etc.
  15. Have you joined the roll call.?
  16. Great upgrade AQ perks including BLU and Persian Gardens! ENJOY!
  17. Note...the parking garage for EDGE is not an easy walk to the terminal....Narrow walkways, cross walks...
  18. We prefer Tuscan and the Greek because they are smaller...but enjoy all 4. We reserve ahead for early time..always get a nice window view ..and enjoy our neal while it is still quiet!
  19. Standards have lowered but usually we see folks dress "non slob!" And we have observed enforcement of no shorts for dinner and no bathing suits at lunch..unless suitably covered up. We dress up more for chic night but no more jackets, ties, gowns or such...unless folks want to..
  20. In general..not always an easy walk..sometimes rainy, sometimes sunny. If not close by to the terminal or near a tram stop, you can drop off luggage and circle back. Much easier to take a taxi into the port but we will be driving for BEYOND...short cruise we will travel light! Best ever was when we had the terminal next to Convention Center..Prking kot right in front..easy walk on...not the usual set up.
  21. https://www.oceanoasisbonaire.com/en/ Doesnt look bad..We love Bonaire!
  22. There comments and photos at Trip Adv may help you and if you google there are other other photos
  23. Try to find some photos..esp how you would access the water. Some of the beach clubs did not have much of a teal beach and awkward water access..But no idea which ones. Bonaire as we recall is not a big sandy beach stop...other ABC Islands are more " beachy"
