I agree with your point. However, other than cruising, how many of us agree to pretty much abrogate all of our rights in order to engage in some activity? As I have said in the past, when it comes to the cruise contract, if you think you have any rights then you obviously have not read it.

I initially really liked Billy Joel. Love his song Piano Man. I can sing and play it on piano. Then when he came out with Only The Good Die Young with its line.. Catholic girls start much too late... I was done with him. That rubbed me the wrong way big time.

Micro back surgery has come a long way. You can't listen to people who had back surgery years ago. It is also very important to be in the hands of a very skilled surgeon.

Herniated disc and spinal stenosis are two completely different issues and treated quite differently.

You do understand that general anesthesia is inherently far more dangerous than local, right? Personally, I would never have general anesthesia anywhere where someone skilled in intubation was not readily available.

When the next pandemic rears it's head and cruise ships get hit RCI will be courting its C&A members again.

If someone sails the same line whenever they sail, regardless of interval between those sailings, I would consider that loyalty. What do you consider someone who sails once a year on RCI but their other 4 sailings of the year are on different lines?

I think the advantage would be that you would receive points for cruising either line. As to source, for those of you asking, there was a recent Captain's Club webinar where the question was brought up and the CEO of Celebrity said something may occur in the future... paraphrasing as I don't remember her exact words.

Covid has evolved. I don't think people are afraid of it in its present form and I don't foresee cruise lines going back to prior mandates but only time will tell.

Oh, I understand. The stairs do get to be old after a day or two.
