  1. Made it home from football in time to watch the start of Below Deck Med. It think this is going to be a very good series. Very interesting start with new storyline. Much nicer boat than the last Med season. Love the Italian location.
  2. I really miss both morning sunrise coffee and evening sunset cocktails with beautiful blue water to gaze at.😇
  3. Boeing did such a great job with the 787 project. It looks really comfortable and the larger windows is such a nice improvement. I always enjoy the flight over the alps on the approach to Italy. They are beautiful. Nice photo of the Bridge of Sighs and Piazza San Marco. I'm not sure where the hotel is located. What is the address? How pricy is it? It might be a place for me to look into in the future. Please keep the pictures coming. I truly love this city on the sea. I wish you an awesome time in the Motherland!
  4. That annoys me so much. I think it is very selfish of the window seat person to not consider that someone might want to see what is going on out that window. I typically do aisle seats because I want to get to the lavatory when I need to use it. I don't like feeling trapped in the row.... especially if someone is sleeping.
  5. True, though I've never paid a several thousand dollar cover charge to get into those land ones.😉😊
  6. I think that whatever you are having is going to come here. At least that is how it looks from the Weather website.
  7. We have had a pretty windy and rainy gray day. I went down the the beach around 7 tonight. The North Atlantic is a bit angry. Pictures don't really capture it well.
  8. They would have made sure he was if it was going to save them $1800 don't you think? And I suspect anyone ill enough to leave a cruise probably made a stop at the medical center unless suffering a medical emergency while in port. In that case, with proper documentation, the ship's physician could sign off on the fine waiver.
  9. That is because RCI doesn't care. They get their money and that is what matters to them. This is an easy government fix. Simply add one line to the law... If a ship's physician determines that for medical reasons it is better for a passenger to leave the cruise early rather than complete it, then the penalties of the law will not apply.... Now I've done all the leg work for the deadbeats in Washington. All they have to do is add the wording.
  10. Sounds like something that no one should ever have to go through just for having the misfortune of becoming ill on cruise.
  11. I was at Labadee once when they landed a helicopter for a med evac. No idea where they took the patient. A Hatian hospital would not be too appealing to me.
  12. I feel about the same. A good deal for a ship I don't really want to be on is no deal at all for me.
  13. I had no issues with the beds and it has been almost two years since I was last on Allure.
  14. I will never forget the time this younger man was in the office and I saw that he was missing a molar and I asked him what happened to it. He told me his dentist gave him a price to fix it and a price to extract it. The man could not afford the price to fix it so the molar was pulled. I felt so disgusted that a dentist would pull a salvageable tooth over money. This happened years ago and I remember it clearly to this day and feel just as disgusted now as I did then. I can't imagine ever tailoring a patient's medical care based on his/her ability to pay for it.
  15. Got a bike ride in this afternoon. Everyone knows this house... The kind of house I like.. The view from the lighthouse... And where I found Jade. What will she do when she finds its real purpose?🤔
  16. It is not a muscle issue. It is a joint problem. Muscle relaxants will do nothing. You need anti-inflammatories.
  17. That is ridiculous. Our government is so focused on medical costs while dentist literally run wild. Whoever that dentist is, (s)he should be embarrassed.
