Just to add, we were in 8282 - nice room. The deluxe inside rooms are a nice size.

I don't know if it was because they knew we were British but on our Ascent cruise in the Caribbean there was a kettle in our room without having to ask.

You're going to be off the ship now but there is no assigned dining even though they tell you there is. You can go to any of the 4 restaurants at any time.

I know we can not understand Celebrity's logic but if you're not 'anytime' why give you a time. Do you think because of the non edge class the computer can't cope with individual ships?

I don'[t think they're talking about booking the restaurant themselves they're saying they've been allocated 8.30 dining as in not 'anytime'. I'm on a B2B and one is 8.30 and one is Anytime so I'd also be interested in the answer - never been on edge class. Sorry if I've confused it more!

So, on Ascent are the Infinite Verandas doors going to let in all the light or will there be curtains or blackout blinds?

Also if it's not a European cruise you can easily change as more people are trying to change to early than you can imagine!

The early show which used to be at 7 was always less popular than the 9.00 show. I wonder if this will change as it's half an hour later. We used to go before dinner but that won't be possible. Different ship, different times - shake things up a bit - we don't like change!!!

I have looked but wonder if somebody could help. Taxi's seem to be very expensive to get around. I haven't been to Tortola before so I would like to see some of the Island and then go to smugglers cove. Is this possible and what should I expect to pay? If we decide just to go to Smugglers Cove does anybody know how much a taxi is at the moment. Thanks in advance.

Last year we had a good Roll Call. We did a slot pull and people did bring gifts which I've never seen before and a couple of private tours together. There are no connection parties as far as I know. I mentioned a cabin crawl as I haven't been on Eden class - zero response! Never mind, it won't spoil the cruise obviously but its nice to meet other people that way even if its only for the sailaway.
