Thank you. I think one of our Baltimore reporters went to Montreal to watch the eclipse and it sounds like he might have gotten quite a view. I also have some cousins about 30 km south of Montreal. Roy

Thank you Rich, Jacaui, Vanessa, Debbie, Ann, and Dixie for the Eclipse day report. I prefer "Keepin it Real" to D,A,R,E, will not try to draw a bird, but will celebrate Roma Day. I like the Lewis point of view. I have not been to Darwin but have been relatively close, Alice Springs on a 2003 land trip. A tip of the cap to Hank Arron. I'll pass on the meal. My alternative is Cantaloupe, Pineapple, and Orange, Iced Melon Bisque, Turkey Roast with Giblet Gravy and Cranberry, and Triple Berry Crisp as served on MS Zaandam April 8, 2017: Back from the cardiologist. Nothing major but some issues surfaced. She has ordered a consult with the Hopkins Valve Clinic but that could take months to schedule. She also ordered a long term heart monitor which should be fitted in the next few days. She also ordered a test of increasing the dose of one of my meds for a week. Roy

You can also use a couple of pieces of cardboard and a small hole in one of them. Face away from the sun and hold the cardboard with the hole up and the other cardboard behind it. The small hole will act like a simple lens. Roy

While I stopped watching the webcam was still on. I just heard the Symphony's bellows from the kitchen. Roy

I don't think so. That's what "foreign" is. Marginally different continents but there are some strange exceptions, and I think some places that may be possessions of another country may have an impact. I was on the Crystal Northwest passage cruise and places like Pond Inlet did not count even though they were far from the US but apparently Greenland did. Not sure about Iceland but may be because Greenland is owned by Denmark. Roy
