  1. @StLouisCruisers so sorry to hear that but good that you're definitely out Thursday. And summer just began here, 5:13AM. I think it varies by latitude, earlier further north and a bit later to the south. Roy
  2. It won't go on the list but I have a bit of a celebration. Luggage Forward picks up the big bag for my QM2 cruise July 1 Wednesday, and today I basically finished getting it packed. There may be an adjustment or 3 but I could easily send it just as it is. Roy
  3. I almost never turn away from a thread unless I lose interest in the topic. I have found CC's "Ignore User" function has had very beneficial effects on my blood pressure. Fortunately, I have never had to ignore any dailyites and our preferences are different but I highly recommend that function. Roy
  4. Today's sunrise photo was taken just outside my neighborhood Middle School. I hadn't noticed when I took the picture the reflection off the basketball backboard. Roy

  7. I'll pass on taking a cat to work since I don't have a cat and I don't think it would be appreciated at the fire station, the closest I have come to work in the last 15+ years. My pharmacy when I was growing up made very tasty ice cream sodas. Dutch Harbor Alaska is my favorite place for viewing Eagles, especially one WW2-era shipyard. I have not been to Souda. Love the quote from the Alchemist. The menu selection is great and I think I take it rather than giving an alternative. 10. Tubs in those family oceanview cabins are so short as to be little more than glorified showers. Probably about 3 feet long. Roy

  15. Thanks. I thought he had retired by that time. I don't envy the Rotterdam crew either, taking on a bunch of passengers from a ship with spreading Covid was a definite risk, even if they were asymptomatic at the time of the transfer. All the crews from both ships are true heroes. Roy
  16. You and I have chilly weather but it's 33/95 up in the frozen tundra. Go figure. Roy

  20. Thank you for the Saturday Daily, Rich. I try not to Panic and am not a fisherman but a picnic sounds great. I don't think I've been to Guadeloupe. The quote sounds nice. The meal sounds ok although I am not really a fan. My alternative is Tropical Fruit Medley, Oven Roasted Chicken, and Baked Alaska as served on MS Veendam May 21 2016 (the last half of June is a drought period so I'm using alternatives from May 21-31 that I didn't use this year while on Adventure of the Seas).'' 21. Thank God for that but with those injuries I expect at best a very long recovery. Also, Thank God for the neighbors; sounds like they did everything right and one wrong move on their part would have been very harmful. Roy
  22. And Zuiderdam slips behind Odyssey. Have a great weekend all. Roy
