  1. We've done it. It was a change during COVID, and it looks like it's here to stay. The food offerings are pretty much the same, you just have to order them now. At least that was our experience. Got lots of good food, and left totally stuffed. But I agree with jalves - I miss the buffet.
  2. It really wouldn't be feasible. Any two cruises, on the same ship, would be "B2B" the list for that would be huge.
  3. You can call DCL and ask what movies will be playing onboard your cruise. For the best info, call within 2 weeks of your cruise. Any further out, things change sometimes.
  4. If you book transportation from WDW resort (and I believe also from MCO Hyatt) you will be in the earlier boarders. Not necessarily the "first". In reality, if you plan on arriving at the port somewhere around 12:30-1:00 you'll get on board pretty quickly. Earlier than that, you're going to be waiting in lines for check in, and boarding.
  5. I always take one dress (dark blue velvet), and change out the accessories. I agree that you'll find people who won't be strictly white and gold. You can certainly accessorize a purple dress with white/gold add-ons. I wouldn't go out an buy another dress.
  6. That went away several years ago. If you want character autographs, you must bring your autograph book (only books) with you to character appearances.
  7. While I haven't sailed the Wish, all my DCL cruises were early dining waitlisted (13 cruises). Only 2 of them didn't come through. Regarding the fireworks and late seating, they schedule it so you don't miss the fireworks due to late seating. Unless you're a real lollygagger and don't finish eating on time. If it makes you more comfortable, and you don't wind up on early seating, you can ask your server to make sure your dinner that night comes out fast so as not to miss the fireworks.
  8. Best answer - probably. If you look under shore excursions for your cruise, for that port, it will probably list such a shuttle service.
  9. Each adult (21+) guest may bring onboard 2 bottles (max 750 ml) wine/champagne on embarkation at each port of call. https://disneycruise.disney.go.com/faq/prohibited-items/carrying-alcohol-onboard/
  10. Can't happen. As noted, the PVSA won't allow you to board in one US port a debark in a different US port without a stop in a DISTANT foreign port.
  11. 👍 Correct. DCL set up the Royal Court Tea Party as a children's event. It was necessary to also allow a parent/guardian to attend.
  12. No, age specific activities onboard are firm.
  13. You're the 3rd person to ask this. Are you all traveling together? The children that are picked are selected at random by a CM during the pre-show Golden Mickeys arrival time. There's no way to "guarantee" any specific child being selected.
  14. If you're on the general DCL website and click on the link to see excursions, yes, it's generally the excursions that have been offered in the past (and may be offered again). To see specifically what excursions are available on your specific cruise you have to do it through your reservation.
  15. Well, things aren't running the way they "used to". But, historically (prior to COVID) this is what happened: "Winter": first cruise in the new year up to April/May (not including spring Panama Canal and Transatlantic) – sometime between late September to early November "Summer": cruises from about May to August/September (not including fall Panama Canal and Transatlantic) – mid February to early April. "Fall": September until the end of the year (ending with the last cruise starting in the old year) – generally around May.
  16. I would be interested, but I'm not on Facebook. Not everyone is.
  17. For just seeing what's available? Or for actual booking?
  18. You can have your wine served in the dining rooms, if you wish. I believe you can also get it in the lounges.
  19. In the MDR, for birthdays they bring an individual mousse dessert (along with singing servers). You can order an actual cake (at extra cost), if you wish. You can have your wine served in the dining rooms.
  20. The gift card must be applied to the onboard account. Then, anything they purchase onboard with their KTTW card will be deducted from the onboard account credit.
  21. It's on the DCL website that it is. https://disneycruise.disney.go.com/onboard-activities/goofys-sports-deck/
  22. I'm not saying either way. I'm saying those itineraries are new and we haven't heard/read about what activities DCL is doing onboard for them. Once people have started doing those cruises, and report back, we'll probably get a better idea.
