I was on the Crown in October and the washer and dryer were free. But you had to purchase detergent and dryer sheets. Most people pack laundry pods and dryer sheets. Also keep an eye on the time for the washer and dryer. You don't want someone to remove your clothes and leave them on top of the one shelf or the dryer still wet or not totally dry. Also, if you can try to clean the dryer filter. It helps. Enjoy your cruise. @Callista_R welcome to cruise critic.

I was on the Crown this past October and they added a European power outlet and a USB port in every cabin. They were installed in the desk. There was no prior notice before the cruise. I had a letter in my cabin giving me which day it was going to be installed. It might still happen for the Caribbean. @oceanlover1031 Welcome to cruise critic and have a great cruise. @iankh Sorry to hear that Princess didn't respond. Just curious who you wrote to at Princess. The end of this month I will be cruising with my youngest daughter and her family. My three-year-old granddaughter has an egg allergy. I sent Princess an email, subject was food allergy and in the main part of the email was our sail date, ship, cabin number, passengers name and age and what the dietary request was. The bottom line is you have to do the math and see if it's a right fit for you. You know your limits I don't. It might be a benefit it might not.

I was on the Crown last October and using the app to check your foli was convenient, but I was still able to print one out near customer service from the stand-alone printer. All I had to do was touch the medallion to it. I agree with @Rick&Jeannie that it is a different kind of accounting.

I don't disagree. But I think some do or it wouldn't be offered. 😀 I was just comparing beverage packages. I guess I should have mentioned that RCL doesn't offer a package like the Princess Plus or Princess Premium. They just offer a beverage package.

As stated by many, some buy the packages some don't. You have to do the math and determine if it is for you and in your budget. My personal opinion I would not purchase a Plus or Premium Beverage package vs. a Princess Plus or Princess Premium package. Personal note: I wish they would change the name, very confusing. Just comparing the Plus and Premium Beverage packages to the Royal Caribbean Beverage package. Plus Beverage $64.99/day plus gratuity. Premium Beverage $84.99/day plus gratuity. I'm booked on an RCL cruise early 2025. The beverage package currently, is $87.99/day plus gratuity. This price varies by ship and length of cruise and can change in price up until sailing. So, you may or may not get a great deal. Personally, I'm getting the better deal with the Princess Plus package. Everyone has their own opinion, but you have to make sure you are doing your due diligence and compare correctly. Good luck.

Someone can help me here but maybe you can contact Princess and see if the captain will participate in you renewing your vows on the ship. It's not quite the same thing but we renewed our vows on our 30th anniversary while sailing around the Hawaiin Islands on Kuai. A beautiful memory. Congratulations on your anniversary. Sounds like your experience is a bit of an anomaly. I have some really nice stories of people we chatted with on our roll calls and met on the ship and had a great time. There are two couples that we met in 2012 and we (I) are still cruising with them today.

Welcome to cruise critic. My opinion is you have a nice cabin and location. Don't overthink it. If you really think you need to upgrade see if your TA can get you into a mini suite like @sunviking90 suggested depending on the cost difference. Honestly you don't spend a lot of time in your cabin. Just relax and have a good time.

If I log out of the app then when I go to log in, I have to type in all the information, ID and password. I'm guessing you don't log out of your app.

What you stated would have been my guess. I can't get the link unless I log into Holland. But my statement was made in regard to what is written below for the Elite Beverage Package. It doesn't say 15 alcoholic beverages. It says, "Elite Beverage Package has a daily limit of 15 beverages, which includes all beverages priced at $15 or less..."

I wish the IT group would make facial recognition available on the Princess app. It's a pain to type ALL the information every time you open the app.

If the plus and premier packages go up it's one less thing I'll purchase.

I always try to hold my door so it doesn't slam shut. It's called being respectful. Please bring back Churchills and make that the only place you can smoke. I try to avoid the casino because of the smoke and it's very annoying where they let the people smoke on deck. One they don't always smoke in the right area and then you can't control the wind.

The elite beverage package reads like it is limited to 15 beverages a day including alcoholic and non-alcoholic. So, any combination of alcohol, soda, water and coffee your limit is 15. Am I reading that right?

I'm on the Caribbean 4/27 and there is nothing for MUTS when I check the app. It shows daily activities but no movies. @Thrak thanks for the list hopefully most of that is fleet wide.
