  1. For those who are curious what Pickleball is, the simplest way to describe it is: 1) It's very simular to tennis 2) Uses a significantly smaller court (four Pickleball courts can fit in one Tennis court) 3) Lower the net 4) Slow the game down by using a ball like a wiffle ball. Here's a short 90 second video on it:
  2. One of the best ways to meet or exceed spend requirements and gain a massive amount of points/miles is to do a room charge at the casino, can do $5000 a day. Technically you don't have to gamble any of it, really comes in handy if your credit card gives you 3% back on travel
  3. It's like a $5 bottle, not remotely good. Buy this, it's like two $10/bottles of wine and it ranks as great wine compared to other $10 bottles. You get lots of attention as people want to know if it's anyone good and which bottle is better than the others:
  4. Got some good news and bad news, the good news is its not $9.00. The bad news is it's $9.95
  5. Think of it like a hotel, all "daily" charges like a hotel's resort fee are PER NIGHT. On a 7 night cruise? Going to pay the daily gratuity 7 times
  6. Generally the 60% off is better but you should always price the BCC and current X offer out as the BCC often has differing fares. For even number purposes, let's say you found a cruise you want at $1,000/person and your a party of TWO. 60% off both = $800 for TWO. $1000 x 2 x .4 75% off second person = $1,250 for TWO. $1000 x .25 + $1000
  7. I cruise quite bit and talk to many who say "we can't believe our luggage our luggage showed up with wine!" Have never been called to the naughty room on X and ironically we welcome the idea of going to the naughty room as think it would be a fun adventure. Have been to one on another cruise line and the crew was extremely friendly
  8. True for nearly all sailings except two, the Mexican Riviera and the sailings originating in Puerto Rico which applies here. They have difficulty filling most sailings on these itinerary so they do offer "fire sales". For example, the Solstice's 7 night sailing this Saturday is offering a sail only balcony for $382/pp which is $54/night
  9. Should be noted that X surprisingly still has a single zero table (no euro rules) with a higher minimum than the double zero table. It's typically only open during busy nights yet perhaps you could talk them into opening it if that matters.
  10. Imagine if somehow impossible/beyond could sneak a few servings of veggies while keeping the current taste and texture...Many would skip the salad and eat a burger instead
  11. Coincidently, it just appeared on the Millie menu for their mid April sailing as well and wasn't there before
  12. Do you recall the name of the guide? Going to see if it's online. Rental car would make sense for many; the more people in your party the cheaper it gets
  13. Did you ask for the kids filet anyways? some report they still receive it even if it’s not on the menu some report even if it’s on the menu they won’t let you order it unless there are kids at the table
  14. I have never done a B2B so do not know, yet yes, I would imagine you can bring the wine on and get it on the last night
  15. As I did state in the post I quoted, I didn't think attempting to make ship run 100% off of PV made much sense however Silent yacht has made catamarans that do just that. Also, they do make larger solar farms
  16. I’ve spoke to several who went from an inside/OV to a balcony for free including some sailings at 90%+ capacity. Best guess is that lots have moved up opening up the lower room types
  17. I get that when they were doing the sky lounge event with apps, you don't want to hold it on the first night as it's a very busy times. Once they changed it to most bars seems like they just "rolled over" without anyone thinking. They could throw their loyal customers a bone by offering it on the first night; conspiracy theorists may believe without day 1 drinks, they trying to funnel you into the casino for the free drinks
  18. Celebrity wishes we all felt this way...lol
  19. I'll attempt to bring some value...Full electric boats are deployed already; full electric platoon boats have been around for a decade. There are perhaps a dozen electric boat (usually yachts) dealers who have sold electric (often with solar) vessels. Here's the list of current COMMERICAL deployed vessels (more in the pipeline), 15 boats/ships and 1 sub.
  20. LNG Propulsion, yes...Small hydrogen fuel cell for "low emissions hotel operations", probably not; I would imagine some port(s) in specific locations must be subsidizing hydrogen because it's more expensive than diesel or LNG
