  1. Just curious OP, why would you like to see the drink orders?
  2. Supermarkets...I travel a lot and shop at a lot of supermarkets all over, haven't noticed any rotting produce...I would suggest visiting another supermarket or even Costco. Restaurants...Here in L.A. we're always considered in the top ten food cities in the US (some lists have us in the top 3). During the pandemic, our restaurants were shut down for dine in service twice, only option was take out/delivery. Take out removes a restaurant service, atmosphere and even presentation, meaning it's only about the taste of the food. If you have bad tasting food, you're probably going out of business. Again, it seems all cruise lines let the bean counters win as while land-based restaurants as a whole, seem to improve, it always seems to be on the decline on a cruise ship.
  3. Board the ship early, go to guest services and ask if there's any upgrades available. Often, they have plenty of insides/OVs/balconies (yet AQs and suites are usually full), but this is assuming it's not near 100% capacity.
  4. With the multiplier, just a WAG (Wild A$$ Guess) that it could be that the third party of PlusGrade hasn't yet integrated them into the bidding visuals yet.
  5. In my experience, if it's a short cruise, it somewhat doesn't matter if it's 3 nights or 4 nights, what matters is when in the week it is. All weekdays, you're probably on a fairly tame sailing, if it's over a weekend and includes a monday holiday, that's about as rowdy as it gets. I was on the Millie on a five nighter over this past Labor Day, there was maybe 50 people under 30 years old, I talked to a lot of them and many revealed they really didn't want to go but their parents paid for them to join them. lol
  6. Awesome that whatapp works for you. I often work remotely on sea days, this allows me to cruise more often. The problem for my work is we have existing group text messages and phone calls. I should consider asking my coworkers if they can use whatapps so I can work from my cruise just to hear their comical responses. lol
  7. Thanks, I've had great luck with wifi calling as well. Occasionally when walking from one of the ship to the other the wifi can drop and it may not automatically reconnect in a timely manner. With the iphone, I go into the ships wi-fi network info, select "Auto-Join" then in the phone's wi-fi settings select "automatic" for "Auto-Join Hotspot" which seemingly always stays connected.
  8. Been on 9 sailings since the restart, oddly when they were staff serving the buffet, they weren't having dining staffing issues. Once they went back to self-serve the dining staffing issues got worse
  9. Even if the itinerary is different for the Reflection, I feel like the two weeks would all run together. For myself it would be a much more memorable experience if I went on two different ships. I have been on the Edge and Reflection and wouldn't hesitate to book the Beyond.
  10. Totally agree yet it's always been that way. Additionally, they have a partnership with land-based MGM rewards, sometimes the BCC sends offers based on MGM play on a quarterly basis
  11. Does "Cellular at sea" rely on reception? If yes, the OP definitely wants wifi. Also depending on when their sailing is, the ship may have starlink.
  12. Bottom line is if final payment isn't until AFTER black friday you can simply wait it out. 99.99% chance there will be "black friday sale" yet it's not uncommon for the discount to be good but at the same time, the fares are also inflated.
  13. I'm 100% sure in Blu you can bring a guest if solo, the single supplement % doesn't matter and the M'D doesn't know how much you paid. I have zero experience with Luminae but am GUESSING it's the same.
  14. Chrome desktop PC and Chrome on apple won't work for me, Edge works. Not surprised, the notification by CC admins yesterday was "just log back in", I just had a feeling that would be an issue...lol
  15. Restaurant not to be missed is the Eden Restaurant, if I had a 5 night package I'd go to Eden at least twice. Eden twice, Le Petite and Fine Cut (which can be extremely loud) twice. Rooftop is just too windy to and it just feel too expensive for what you get
  16. Which ships didn't apply double points when solo? Since the restart, I've been on the 'Nox, Millie and Reflection solo, they all gave me the double points automatically
  17. Airplane mode is generally all you have to do for most phones including iPhones. If you have wifi on the ship, you'll want to check that the Wi-Fi calling setting enabled
  18. Thanks! Yes, I see that the Solstice used per B50 on Oct 29th; from now until April it will be using B93.
  19. Well, the one plus about moving the prime rib from the first night to the last is now you can book a specialty restaurant at a discount on the first night and not miss out on the prime rib
  20. I would like to know as well. Also you would have to imagine some people will forget to put their luggage out, then what do they do?
  21. Even if you could insurance it and the sailing got cancelled, wouldn't you only get back fees and taxes?
  22. I'm on her three times this season, I skimmed the site, it's always in B93 except for two sailings, both at the end of her season in April: Apr 1st: B50 Apr 29th B92 All other sailings are B93 ***IF YOU'RE READING THIS, BE SURE TO DOUBLE CHECK THAT THINGS HAVEN'T CHANGED***
  23. Unlike the internet, it seems most cruise lines are in a constant state of decline in both quality and selection. Good thing I don't cruise for the food.
