  1. I was at the launch watching from the Blythswood estate in Renfrew.
  2. One word...."Ferries"...lol BAE are doing very well in launching and obtaining orders for type45. Big recruitment going on right now.
  3. It's all been discussed by others on this forum already. Suffice to say, I emailed X on Saturday that I returned and received an apology and FCC on the following Tuesday. In summary: Sullen Staff, food, slow service, no sunbeds, ship was full capacity, ship not designed for Retreat areas, poor quality of inclusive alcohol, poor internet speeds. I was travelling Aqua.

  5. Elite plus. Already cancelled 3 this year. One more location based cruise, Jan 24, then it's bye. Spending FCC issued as an apology for a disastrous cruise on Silhouette in January 23 Already been Azamara, Oceania and Princess this year. All far and away superior to tired old Celebrity. Celebrity? They've lost the plot.....completely..
  6. just have a look at he Calmac webpage. Calmac are the local ferry operators on the West Coast of Scotland. They have frequent delays and cancellations due to weather conditions. Further South, to Ireland from Scotland there are fewer issues. Check out Stenna and P and O Ferries. Pentland Ferries from Aberdeen have few issues. Check these websites below Leith, for Edinburgh and Greenock, for Glasgow have few issues. Same with Belfast. I'm currently in Tromso, Norway , above the Arctic Circle . Calm seas , blue skies and 64f. https://www.calmac.co.uk https://www.stenaline.co.uk/ferries-to-ireland https://www.poferries.com/en/routes/cairnryan-to-larne
  7. We leave on Sky Princess too this Saturday. No communications received. There's going to be a big line at Guest services. .... a big line of angry customers.
  8. We were on Riviera in March 2023 for 23 days. Loved it. It had been refurbished to a high standard. I`ll be back onboard in November . Fortunately, we booked before the Olife removal and the subsequent price increases
  9. All recently changed on Oceania. No Olife. You pay all inclusive and this includes an excursion O.B.credit that you may not wish to use, drinks you may not wish to have. No opting out.
  10. Thanks. Found it. UK site has Canada greyed out. I searched using month

    New website.

Ok, I give up....I can't access my account. Previously, before they took down Azamara.uk it was no problem. I could see one of my two booked cruise. I can access my bookings, just to look, on Seaware but Azamara.com is throwing up negatives. I`ve changed passwords numerous times, used the online template to contact Azamara, received responses saying your account is in order. Come on...give me a clue.
  15. We cruised with Azamara in Oct22. We had a further cruise with Celebrity in January 2023. The Celebrity cruise was , to say the least, poor. Service bad, food poor(meatloaf in Aqua Blu), Impossible to obtain a sun lounger. The ship was just too small for the number of people onboard. That was onboard Silhouette. We've sailed with Celebrity on 20+ cruises . Never again. The fact that I emailed a complaint on the Sunday after arriving home and receiving a response on the following Tuesday with an apology and £200 each F.C.C. says it all to me. They know there are issues onboard Celebrity. There is no comparison between Celebrity and Azamara. For us, Azamara, wins heads up in every respect. Recently, we sailed Oceania which was excellent and it's now a toss up between Azamara and Oceania. We currently have 2 future Azamara trips booked. However, in view of the recent issues with Azamara web pages, our slant is toward Oceania right now. Booking Oceania on Sunday (yesterday) I can see my cruise/ status and tours on my account today.
  16. Greenock to Ayr could be possible. Train to Glasgow Central, change platforms for Ayr train then bus to Alloway for Burns cottage and museum. The Alloway bus stop is just outside the rail station.Bus numbers, 97 or 361 Alternatively, a taxi from Ayr station. Plenty taxis outside station.
  17. This his useful and in most cases , reliable https://www.travelinescotland.com/
  18. You can look forward to the meatloaf 😆
  19. Meat loaf in Blu during our January Silhouette cruise was outstanding🤣
  20. But, you can now have meatloaf in Blue
