  1. Friends in a sky suite asked their butler to set up an anniversary party for about 10 people. Wine, sparkling wine, water, soda and snacks. Went to a party in the PH. They had Sushi on 5 items as snacks. We have coffee and fruit delivered at 7am each morning by the butler. Celebrated a birthday in a sky suite.
  2. We will be doing our 1st all-inclusive resort in Playacar, Mexico later this month. It has nothing to do with Celebrity and the recent changes. We are meeting up with friends from England. We met them on a cruise in 2016.
  3. If Celebrity only has E Class ships. Good Bye. We booked Oceania once but canceled. I'm going to look at Oceania again.
  4. When buying the FCL I would have told Celebrity that I want the certificates to go to my TA. I looked at my reservation and yes it has a booking date of 10 Nov 2022. The issue date is 12 Dec 2022.
  5. You now have 1 year to book a cruise with your certificate. Or get your money back.
  6. I had my TA book a Celebrity Suite for us last month. My reservation has a total of $200 deposit. Quote is from my TA. "Celebrity required a additional $100 – they said that your certificate number xxxxxx had only 1 guest (Richard) and $100 so they needed to add Randy plus $100. Please confirm that your certificate has only a $100 deposit on it." In the past I have upped to a full deposit to get additional benefits from Celebrity.
  7. I got 3 certificates on our last cruise. I had my TA book a cruise with one of our certificates the other day. I did not ask my TA, but I saw a charge of $100 on my CC. I think your total deposit will be $200. The certificates should be good for 1 year.
  8. Elites get 30% off Wi-Fi package or Wi-Fi upgrade, 35% Elite Plus. https://www.celebritycruises.com/content/dam/celebrity/pdf/captains-club-tiers-and-benefits-chart.pdf
  9. Hilo is the wet side and there is not much in town. I rented a car and drove to Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park.
  10. More info needed. What class of ship are you going to be on? If M Class ship is it Millie or the Summit? With 3 different classes of ship and then some have been revolutionized other have not. More I think about it. I dont think M class ships have Sunset Sky Suites. So Edge or Solstice class ship.
  11. There are vestibule between sky suites 8214 & 8216 and a inside cabin 8212 or 8218. Are you booking a suite? From a flier about the Edge, dated 2019 57. WILL THE CONNECTED STATEROOMS FEATURE THE SAME SETUP DESIGN OF ONE DOOR BETWEEN BOTH STATEROOMS, SIMILAR TO CELEBRITY SILHOUETTE AND CELEBRITY REFLECTION? • There are 174 rooms that can be connected by a vestibule or a door. • 134 connecting, and 40 vestibules.
  12. Blu was 1st introduce on Solstice in 2008. In 15 years Celebrity IT department has not fix this problem.
  13. This year we did a land trip to England 14 nights with carry-on luggage only. On BA we could have checked 3 bags free each at 70 lbs. The main reason we did this was LHR was having baggage issues earlier this year. We also did a 7 night Alaska cruise with carry-on only.
  14. I do agree, but we had a really nice lunch on Millie at the Retreat deck in Alaska. 6 people and 2 staff, great service. Yes on a port day after ziplining.😵

  16. I read Gala Night wrong. I can still wear my jeans with no holes. Thanks
  17. We did one sailing on Azamara and the ship was boring. Every once in a while I look at Silversea. My negatives are that ships are to small and the dress code. Give me Smart Casual attire every night. Maybe MSC Yacht Club, but again the dress code. I just stay away from E-Class ships. I enjoy doing glass blowing. More food options on the M and S Class ships in Luminae. I just booked an Alaska cruise in a CS. Edge was $7936 pp, Solstice $6036 PP. Solstice ship out of Vancouver has a better itinerary. I booked Solstice and I can do glass blowing.
  18. You would get better info if we new what ship and type of suite.
  19. We have only sail once on the Edge. We enjoyed our sky suite mid ship. What I didnt like about Luminae was the limited choices of food. Talking to friends that just got back from a TA in Aqua on the Edge. It was not the food, it was the lack of a nice view. On the S and M class ships you have very nice view out the windows. Anyone have a photo of what you see out the windows. What I heard was life boat and railings.
  20. Yes he supplied the gin. I think the gin was in the glasses covered and ready for ice and tonic.
  21. Our friends and us did an Alaska sailing in sky suites this year. They asked their butler if he would do a setup for gin and tonic's in the afternoon. He said yes. He supplied needed items each day. He was not delivering GT's to the suite.
  22. We have a small breakfast at 7 in our suite. Full breakfast at Luminae. Then drinks at Elite Breakfast Event.
  23. Suite guest do not have to show up at their signed time. Show up when you want. Luminae is normally open from noon to 1:30.
  24. We dined at Tuscan Grille on Millie in Alaska. We all had the seafood lunch. "Please sir my I have some more". I think I just ask for another dish. I will say the meal was fine, not great. We used up OBC.
