We finally have gotten rain in the weather bubble we seem to live in. It began around 5am and we've had heavy rain on and off. The Koi Pond is quite full. We now also have a leak in our 3 Season room. It looks like we're going to need a new roof.🫤

While in high school, a friend of mine drove the two of us around in her new convertible, also with the top down windows down, and the heat on.😁

My daughters refer to the Island as "The Rock". I don't know when they began referring to it as such, but Jim has also begun calling it The Rock. I am old fashioned. I always have, and always will, call our old home the Island. It will always be The City to all of us from the Island🥰

Yes. The travel from the Island to Columbia and back is exhausting. Jim was there for 8 days. Luckily, family members took turns driving me there the first couple of days. Healing prayers for Charlie.🙏🙏🙏. Praying for you also, Marietta💕

We are all praying for you and Charlie. Like I said before, Charlie is in a great hospital, with really great caring professionals. I know it's going to be hard, but try to get some rest, Marietta. If need be, they have Valet parking where you just pull up to the door. There is also a parking lot right across the street to the left of the hospital. ❤️🙏🙏🙏

Oh Marietta. Prayers for both Charlie and for you. Jim had his aortic valve replacement done there back on July 11, 2015. Jim just said as far as he is concerned, if you need something done with regard to your heart, Columbia Presbyterian is where you want to be. Everything about that hospital instills confidence. Welcome back from your trip, Mimi! I hope you had a wonderful time up North. Did you find a Diner while you were passing through New Jersey? Best wishes for Linda this Friday as she has her surgery.
