That would make sense, Deb. I haven't been to Venice (thank you, Covid, for canceling our Venice cruise🫤) I forgot about how tough it is to travel in Venice with luggage.

What a wonderful memorable few days with your college pals, their mates and little Miss HBE4! Jim's family used to have a nice sized cabin in Smallwood, NY, near White Lake. Jim spent his Summers there growing up, and our daughters did also, until the cabin was sold in the 1980's. If I close my eyes, I can still smell the beautiful Summer air in the woods, and I have such fond memories of long walks with Jim and the girls. Thank you for sharing. The pictures are great!!

Thank you, Deb!🥰 I can not imagine doing just a carry-on and backpack...I usually use a backpack, a carry-on, and my regular piece of luggage. When we've planned on staying in a hotel for a few days prior to a cruise, I live out of the carry-on without opening the regular luggage until we're on the ship. You and Andy are going to have such a wonderful time on your European vacation with cruise included.😉😊

Last night Jim and I celebrated our 52nd Anniversary by having dinner at our local Japanese Restaurant. We had such a lovely chat with a young mother and her two teenagers who shared the table with us, her son is 17 and her daughter is 13. Our daughter, who was born on our 1st Anniversary, enjoyed her Birthday dinner in Paris (lucky girl). Our daughter, SIL and 2 granddaughters have been in Paris visiting our grandson who has been taking Summer Classes in Paris this month.

Good for the 3 of you!!!! It makes sense to have to wear sneakers on the Zip line..
