It looks like you have not been sailing Princess for some time. You can read all about Platinum and Elite benefits on Princess.com under the Captain's Circle pages. There is a download PDF with the details. There have been some changes and additions. Free Internet (you called it Wifi) has been gone for a long time now. Internet access is sold by the voyage or by the day. It is unlimited. Platinum and Elite can purchase for 50% off the rates. It is included in the Plus and Premier cruise fare packages. No, Plus and Premier have nothing to do with Captain's Circle member levels.

That is the screen I was thinking of a few posts back when suggesting a poster could try and get a PCL rep to take a screen print and email to them as they were concerned if they really, truly, had what the person was telling them. (And it is hard to blame guests for being uncertain with all the messed up data issues that happen in some bookings - at least from the App perspective which is the guest view or window into POLAR records).

I can understand an interpretation that varies from what they mean. However, it is spelled put in the complete terms and conditions which is referenced in the email and includes a link to the information.

It absolutely is mind-boggling. My career was in IT business software. I have never seen anything remotely approaching the utter incompetence displayed by Princess IT on multiple occasions.

Interesting because I had the impression from the last seminar - with fuzzy screen shots from POLAR - that there was a clear indication of what guest has in their package. Or at least which package it is. AFAIK, there are only four packages active today outside of Standard: PLUS @ $50 PLUS @ $60 PREMIER @ $75 PREMIER @ $80 Maybe there is still some old $40 Plus not sailed yet as well.

But, it would suit us. I do need to find out more about them. They do allow two free bottles of wine it appears, but IDK about more with a corkage fee. Four would work if can bring more on at ports. I might like their wine list. No idea.

Maybe they consider is cannibalizing themselves?

This particular point has been clarified dozens of times on this forum in various threads. If guest pays the $15 Ocean Now activation fee, there is no additional charges for RS.

You must have the Plus @ $50/pp/day, purchased prior to Dec 14, 2022. Either upgrade for $10/pp/day to get everything new, or pay-as-you-go for the new stuff.

Try asking a Princess rep to take a screen shot of your package benefit info (wish I could remember the page name in POLAR, but it is the one they would look at to check it) and email it to you. I wonder if they will do that? At some point, the Travel Summary should catch up with the current status.

Gotcha, but I was thinking about the packages context they mentioned. Of course, PCL only thinks about packages.

I'm not sure that any of the $$ values make any sense other than CA, which is working out to 17-night voyage.

I believe I would arrive back pickled spending $6,660. And it is even more since they lengthened the WC from FL and LA.

Perhaps I should have guessed the letter was not pasted in "as-is" from Princess. At the top is does mention a list of things added to Plus/Premier. Anyway, it seems clear enough for most folks.
