  1. It is obvious someone did indeed pickup an Australia graphic and include it in a US market email. Look at it again and notice that Crew Appreciation is not mentioned. We know it is not part of the Aus/NZ Plus/Premier since CA is baked into the cruise fares for all.
  2. To utilize a newly learned acronym, TIPWATA. Since it is quite new around here ... This Is Princess We Are Talking About. It's another blunder from HQ.
  3. Go here on Princess.com: https://www.princess.com/plan/oceanready/ . Dine My Way℠ Reservations /images/global/plan/oceanready/plan-oceanready-app-dinemyway-640.jpg Choose times and preferences for the dining room and specialty restaurants. Reserve early for the best availability! Available in the Princess MedallionClass App Don't have a compatible device? Try our web version Use the web version link and sign into your account or use the Name/Birthdate/Booking Number option to access your voyage. You can perform Ocean Ready steps and also access DMW.
  4. Thanks for additional details. Being informed is being prepared. Hope you have a better experience next time.
  5. Has anyone been through any Terminal at Port Everglades within the past month OTHER THAN #2?
  6. Thanks, but not a fan of the process. I think I would take the VP Sales advice and go in any line that was short. Green in this case.
  7. They are still listed as an item in the package on Princess.com.
  8. Are you CC Platinum or Elite level? Have you made final payment? Have you tried the website version of the App?
  9. We can now see from a more modern and complete Gigi's/Alfredo's that the pizzas are going to be $8.50 - the same as on grand class. That is much more reasonable to me than the $12 we saw on the draft menus. If the $12 was ever real, someone to PCL did the right thing.
  10. What we have seen for the most part is that people who are late have been on Princess tours whereas our private independent tours are always back on time.
  11. I would think that barely caused a ripple as the vast majority of guests using the package at the time were not consuming >15 alcoholic drinks per day. IIRC, there was general support from CC members (obviously not all on drink packages) that having a reasonable limit would help curb people getting blasted. There is a lot more consternation over the pizza since many folks will partake at least once a voyage. And used Ocean Now for free.
  12. I believe PCL has been quite clear about this. When the packages went up to $60/$80, all beverages went up in price pretty much. Guests who get $15/drink max are getting pretty much the same as they would have got at $12/drink before prices went up (is the idea). You should be fine to $15/drink even on the old $50 package. This is to more-or-less keep you whole. I agree with @memoak. Now, here is where there can be a difference. Any guest foolish (due to wasting money compared to Plus cruise fare) enough to purchase the standalone drink package could find themselves with the old per drink spend limit. This is because the T&C for the standalone beverage package mentions the old $12 max. Is this just another Princess error in website info not being complete, correct, and up-to-date - OR - were they intending not to give the same courtesy (if I can say that) to standalone package holders? Anyway, with the Plus Cruise Fare package, the drink spend max is $15/order. IMO, guests should not be accepting this and show ship mgr or Guest Services website info. Or ask them to show you Company policy where it should be $12. Perhaps some ships are confused between what to do for Plus Cruise Fare versus Plus Standalone Beverages.
  13. The App language is probably written by some techie who doesn't structure English well. This wording ought to be supplied carefully from the business side. I don't understand how PCL works, but seems to me IT does a lot of things without strong business side oversight (and perhaps they don't have people who know how to manage IT project work).
  14. Why trust the buggy App? The bible for Princess policy is on Princess.com. If you go there and delve into beverage packages, you can read all of the detail T&C for the packages and it very clearly indicates that the 15 per day count (6am - 6am) applies to alcoholic beverages. Period. Full Stop (for the Brit's in the crowd).
  15. Can you point to a credible (non-joking) post or more about this? I have not seen that and it is doubtful.
  16. Interesting sometimes to see the variations depending on ports and some west coast reports have seemed "off" to me. In Port Everglades, Elites & Suites have been combined/mixed in my experiences. The earliest guests in the first grouping and later arrivals next group. I have not seen a wedding party in ages, but they used to go on well ahead - like when they used to have the BVE.
  17. Guest name is etched on the Medallion, but the interior circuit board only contains technical connection info for the ship network and an ID number. The ID number is a key to the passenger database info that is stored on a server computer.
  18. Interesting change. I just tried it and it said closed department. I wonder if it is for CVP? Although, I have a different number if one wanted to request a CVP. The recording did not indicate the name of the department, nor the business hours. Strange that. I am guessing it is a M-F line.
  19. On a normal day you could count on boarding starting by 11:00am. They could beat that sometimes somewhat, but 11am is the standard expectation these days.
  20. Yes, you are correct. Post #2 omitted that one. Reserve (formerly Club Class) used to be same boarding priority as Platinum guests. Top priority is Suite guests and Elite guests.
  21. Not saying that. But some people could be on a plane and not know they are positive. The OP flew home wearing N95 mask. I think you have to assume that in a large building with people from all over - such as an airport terminal or concert venue - that there are going to be certain number of folks with various ailments in various stages. Nature of the human condition. All one can do is their own precautions or stay away.
  22. True that. We were really flying much then. At least you got something for the headaches when being cancelled and such. BTW, the small number times been on them, I liked Hawaiian. Longest was HNL-SYD. Otherwise, inter-island some years ago.
