  1. Suggest you shop your voyages. I just looked at Grand in 2025 thinking I would easily find available WS - and I did. The list of inclusions when I pulled up a cabin on a particular voyage was not nearly as complete as when I backed out and selected a Vista Suite. Several things missing. I don't shop Suites so IDK if this is a seed-change or not. It looks like either they don't get as much now (including mini-bar as one example), or never did have everything the same as a Suite. That said, anytime I have read about one from a member post here, it sure seemed like a WS had everything the same, except no balcony.
  2. I did say maybe and we know they wouldn't have a press conference to trumpet the news.
  3. My thanks for all the PDF's (I have downloaded and saved for reference). I had missed that page earlier for some reason in this huge thread even though thought I was keeping up. I am thinking PCL would not have gone to trouble of making up menus if not bringing back Steamers and Planks. Perhaps they knew long ago something like this was coming and decided to defer bringing them back even though Covid protocols went away some time back (which I believe was a reason they were not yet back, or also was due to staffing shortages a while back). Like everything else, time will tell. August is going to be an interesting month on the ships and no doubt we will get trip reports on this forum.
  4. Since that isn't a full meal, it will likely have a lower price if/when offered. Not every for-fee casual dining locale is a set cost. They have a la carte options as well. As to what the cost may be, no one is going to know unless PCL publishes a menu or we have the first affected guests that are members here post a report and menu photo. ETA: Per post #9 above (up ~3 as this is likely to get merged into the main thread), the new menus for all casual dining place with fees have been posted between #1317 and $1325 on the main thread (IDK how I missed these as I thought I had seen all the pages over time, but that thread was growing exponentially.. LOL).
  5. Guests have had some success with this. Cancel immediately upon boarding and re-book a new reservation. Your previously paid charge on credit card is going to be refunded as Refundable OBC and not back to your credit card.
  6. So there may be a method to PCL "madness" by placing them there. No longer going to be treated along with the other Suites. Worth knowing more about this.
  7. We often cruise with another couple and we get a single 4-device plan.
  8. BUT, everyone has to be together close to the one running the tether site.
  9. Technically, it is partially obstructed due to the solid metal balcony wall instead if the usual glass.
  10. Where are you getting this from? Not true.
  11. Yes -- and the other is use of Ocean Now to order food/drink to your location.
  12. Yea, it was. See post 1699. It was specifically mentioned in webinar. Who knows if it will stick?
  13. If you booked as two physical voyages (separate confirmations), Princess says you pay 2X. If you booked as a single logical voyage, you pay once. That doesn't matter. Note that this is PCL current official position. I don't think it is fair to each scenario.
  14. It's a nice number, but not realistic because PCL will count $31 of that as CA and MedallionNet. Only leave $4 for beverage cost. It would be at least $40/pp/day and I would think max at $45/pp/day. So, $9 - $14 for beverages. Maybe $42.50? Who knows? Anyway, we don't even know if they are considering it. Customers can always suggest and say they would buy it for their under-age kids and even for adults. A revolutionary idea could be to allow cabin guest 1 to book Plus/Premier and guest 2 book this new fictional package based on Zero Alcohol for the beverage portion.
  15. Not heard of picking options, but a guest can remain at $50 pkg paid or upgrade to $60. Perhaps that is what you think/mean by choosing which way to go. If upgrade, you get all the newest items. Seems most folks are calculating their spend on the new things that cost is less than $10/pp/day.
  16. Must be a sea day today. Enjoy!
  17. Bar prices have gone up since then. No name wine list (meaning grape variety only with no producer, vintage, country listed) pricing fits within the $15/glass max allowed for Plus. Label wines are on the Premier list at varying values. A lot of folks will go with Plus and pay any per-glass difference for a wine they prefer that costs > $15. Were you inquiring about WBTG, or bottled wine? Bottled wine is not included in the packages (but there is a 25% discount to menu cost). I cannot think which thread, but might be a recent cruise trip report from sometime in 2023. There was a Plus list and a Premier list of wine and other liquors, IIRC, but not sure anymore where it was.
  18. Not false advertising at all because Sabi's and CG are Specialty Dining and not Casual Dining. Yes, Slice on Lido has been and remains free to all guests. Crab Shack (if/when it returns) and Alfredo's/Gigi's (ships that have one of them) are also Casual Dining and will all cost to eat there. The only Casual Dining locale from all the ones that are free today that changes to for-fee service is Alfredo's/Gigi's.
  19. It was part of the announcements on Thursday. Dec 14/15 was when the new $60/$80 fare packages came into effect. Anything booked on/after then is the new plan and gets all the new perks.
  20. It takes a while for the memos to reach the Philippines due to PCL slow internet service.
  21. Not sure what you meant by not continuing. I can see them continuing the lunch, but the menu will have prices attached as on other ships and not continue to be free. The only free pizza is going to be Slices on Lido deck.
  22. I am aware of this, but juxtapose this with PCL claiming/expecting 70-75% of guests are on one of the two fare packages. By policy, anyone on Plus/Premier cannot deduct out the CA portion. Therefore, considerably less than half the guests can elect this option. (I am not complaining and fully support the CA system as it is, but would prefer it to be baked into the cruise fare as it is in OZ/NZ).
  23. Coming soon. Two weeks ago, they more or less implied around August 1, but I suspect it is a bit later. Now includes Oz and UK, and IDK if they are doing all simultaneously, or opening with Canada first. No specific date has been made public that I am aware of.
