  1. I think you could save some typing and go with SWMBO and we'd all understand it by now. 😁😇
  2. So how old is your information? Yes, the line used to be that cash tips were turned in and kept if the guest had removed auto-tipping, but allowed to be kept if the guest had retained auto-tipping. This changed sometime and there is no turning in by vast majority of reports. Not shooting you - just correcting misinformation.
  3. No. As long as you are doing it in person and not via the App to your location.
  4. This is wrong. Of the many casual dining locations, some have fees and some are free. The only change is to make Alfredo's/Gigi's have a fee. Actually, I saw a Gigi menu with pricing and not sure if it is current or coming. I had always thought Gigi was just a new name for the Alfredo concept. In any case, it's only one addition to the fee list.
  5. Where does the 4-device number come from? The old prices were $10 & $20. Supposed to be $15 & $40 now. You are showing still $20. Why would anyone buy 1 device given the prices above?
  6. Ultra a premium beer??!! 'Tis to laugh. Oh my. Last Fall I was able to exchange for any beer I chose. It was a bit of a surprise when they gave me some Grolsch one time. I wasn't expecting an agreement to that since the bottles are large. Anyway, prices are up some I suppose and we'll have to see what future holds for us. I'd rather take one less beer than have to accept Bud or Ultra.
  7. My wife and I share a pizza for lunch there if we have something else with it. We'll just pay a la carte I expect. IDK what PCL will do when people are sharing a meal of $15. I don't think it will work like CG where everyone pays a flat fee no matter what is ordered. The casual dining places have per-item costs, but also a "whole meal deal" and I am thinking guests will be charged what they order. There should be no debating this if we had info from someone who has dined at O'Malley's or Salty Dog and bought an item or two to share.
  8. No real way to know if they were gone (as in sold) or not released as available inventory.
  9. Actually, I don't think much of that route segment having done it before. The Caribbean is fine, but you have probably been there, done that. Fortaleza is a waste of time. We did enjoy the time in Rio. In Winter 2018, the stop southbound was timed for Carnivale and that was quite an experience. Otherwise, Rio is a risky place to be, but can be enjoyed if careful etc. Having experienced it once, no desire to return. Now, the leg from B.A. in the other direction, I'd jump on to do that over again.
  10. No idea. Never been on that ship, but I presume they have all the pizzas. I gather you are wondering how they will construct a full meal for the $15 fee? No idea, but shouldn't be hard to supply a couple of dessert choices from the kitchen (but hard to justify a fee if one can grab them at various times from IC or Buffet).
  11. Note that if you engage the Ocean Now for single $15 fee per voyage booked, you do not have to pay RS $5 fee on top.
  12. I understand what folks are doing, but of course a cellphone can be set to any desired date/time for a quick photo and then reset back again.
  13. You are going to have no service fees and two visits to for-fee casual dining on first voyage and don't get them on the second, unless you pay $10/pp/day to upgrade.
  14. Yes, all Alfredo's/Gigi's will be for-fee casual dining effective at various dates in August (likely timed with cruise voyage turnover dates). Sapphire is first on August 2.
  15. If ordering using the App, which means Ocean Now and delivery to your location, there is a 1-time fee of $15 per voyage booked. If you phone for RS directly, there is a fee of $5 per usage. If using the App version, then don't call RS because the App option fee covers delivery to the cabin (guest location). As I understand it, the TV is the App on another device than your own. These service fees do not apply for guests on Plus/Premier as long as they paid at the $60/$80 level (list prices - if guest got a discount, not an issue).
  16. If there was an issue with a RS order, I think it is reasonable to expect the replacement will incur no $5 service fee. If no time for a replacement, then I would request a refund of the charge.
  17. This thread is going to cross 1,000 posts in less than 36 hours from the first one. Never seen anything like it on Princess forum.
  18. A lot of the casual dining locations. In fact, all of them that were free before, except for Alfredo's/Gigii's which will now have a la carte prices and well as a full meal package price of $15/pp.
