  1. LOL. This is the official Sun Princess thread.
  2. But that's the crew entrance for servicing.
  3. Mine was always correct (Elite) in the old App up through our voyages in Fall 2022. Last year, it changed to Blue when the old App got a design make-over. New App I am still Blue - even after deleting data and cache and re-logging in. I am wondering (hopeful) it would self-correct if I made a booking. That said, the App should pull member level from CC Member records (Profile) and not need to use a booking to get it.
  4. I wonder if a member who posts here will happen to be the first guest to step on board Sun on Thursday. Special moment for someone.
  5. Not sad at all in my corner because those minutes were costly and disappeared in no time, not to mention the logout issues and losing minutes.
  6. You don't really find that out until on board. It would be giving away marketing info. Same idea as airlines don't really reveal how many total empty seats on a plane ahead of time.
  7. I know what you mean, but no, I have not had reason to call them.
  8. Unless unusual situation, the all-aboard is always 30 minute prior to departure time. But check the board when leaving the ship each port day to be sure. On tender ports I think it is usually 1 hour prior to departure.
  9. All this to and fro on the D0 with Signature dining and benefits - it does read to me that those cabins are not getting the full Signature package (whatever all that entails). It surprises me a little that no one involved has reported speaking directly with a CVP about them (or at least that I noticed). So, it also would surprise me if the inside sales reps (the US-based experienced ones I mean) are not fully informed about the cabins being offered - especially the premium ones that would be the ones to try and sell. Now that sailing is so close, it should get resolved. I can see how either programming for information to fit a cell phone screen versus a PC screen could have variances with sloppy programming. IDK if there is a cache issue involved as well. I was all in the camp that this appears to be a PCL issue as not the first time there have been marketing errors in the booking process. Not so sure now. Will be interesting to see how it shakes out as live reports come in. But you would think SOMEONE at Princess will have the definitive knowledge about what the situation is SUPPOSED to be. Surely Carmen Roig (VP Sales) or one of her direct reports would know. Any TA's encountered this potential anomaly and inquired?
  10. Not sure the point of thiS post. A rant about internet cost ( it's not wifi). Or is this a rant about speed? It has improved a lot in past few months with new satellite service.
  11. I thought I have read about guest(s) ordering pizza at Alfredo's to go in a box. No?
  12. I have read posts for both. Folks who book 3 and later cancel 1. And folks who have their TA or CVP make the booking stick.
  13. Right, but why do you think the Board cannot do it on their own by passing a resolution?
  14. Reserve Class should be grouped with the Platinums as that is what they did with the former Club Class. Doesn't matter if booked in a Suite or in Reserve. Suites and Elites, followed by Reserve and Platinum is how it should work. Should be AFTER Suite/Elite. Doesn't hurt you if booked a Reserve level cabin. I am quite sure anyone in Reserve is going to be grouped with Platinums and not after them. Yes, agree with your call mention. BUT, a good point is that things are never 100% according to Hoyle, so it is possible some terminal personnel will screw things up from time to time.
  15. Lot of outdated info in that article. Guests are not boarding at 10am. Doors will be open for check-in, but the early arrivers are held in the terminal and assigned boarding groups. Sure, Platinums do get priority, but not with Suites & Elites. They come after (unless someone at a terminal is screwing up the process).
  16. There is no need to book it pre-cruise. You can do it using the App once on board. If you have any OBC, it can help pay for cost of internet plan. You have already given Princess your credit card in order to book a voyage.
  17. Discussed at length in various places in this "master thread" for the new App: Are you using old App or new App? Are you using latest version? The latest release of the new App appears to have corrected the forced entry of a CC for shoreside spending. Several members have posted this on the most recent pages of the new App thread.
  18. Right. But there is a split with Minis. Some Minis are Reserve and many are not. But I do think they are all Mx. That said, the Reserve ones have been M# (as opposed to M<alpha>).
  19. It only makes sense that the more levels you are bidding up, the min bid will be much higher than if looking to bid up only one or two levels.
  20. IMO, if it was S99, it would still be a Suite. Princess' naming system is one thing that is consistent.
  21. It will be Chef's Table on your ship (Chef's Table Lumiere on Royal Class and newest ships). CT exact current price is not readily seen on Princess.com. It was $95 and Lumiere was $115. I believe Lumiere has gone up to at least $125. CT has to have gone up as well. Hopefully someone will post soon.
  22. I guess you have to visit the venue in order to get the casual dining food for free? App ordering means you pay is what I am reading from this (even though you may be entitled to U/L free food.
