  2. The cards were gone quite a long time ago as it was converted to electronic. But as you have read, the whole program was scrapped and so it just doesn't exist to purchase nor swap to. This was trashed about to no end on this forum about two years ago.

  4. If the case, this is very poor design (I have yet to experience the new App as no current booking). Everything about an App should be intuitive or obvious. I don't require training or instructions to use any of my bank apps, shopping apps, airline apps, hotel apps, etc. IDK why these IT idiots are still working for Princess almost two years after launch of the previous App.

  6. ETA: I noticed after that you caught this and corrected in another post. That option is not going to resolve the bad data issue (birthdate). A decent rep with Princess (not overseas) should be able to correct birthdate easy-peasy IMO.
  7. That is one of many fire doors. You will notice others on all the deck plans. They are always open unless an emergency.

One of the basic overall lessons to be learned in this Princess Forum, especially since PCL has outsourced call center support overseas to an organization that has no real cruising experience, is to get connected with at least a decent Cruise Vacation Planner (and hopefully a good one) if you are going to be booking directly with Princess. Of course, I think using a good discount TA is better, but if going to deal with Princess, the internal agents (CVP) are the best route to take care of booking issues.
  10. Take a look at a map. This is like a school geography test trick question. The Panama Canal actually runs more N/S than W/E. In the south section, you will see it almost runs SE to NW.

  14. At the worst, you can book final day of first leg. Even if not so, any B2B guest is going to beat all the new guests boarding on turnaround day. Just ask the in-charge attendant on your first visit when they are taking reservations for the next voyage.

  17. Hmm... so they only charged you $25? Doesn't make sense because internet pricing is now $25/day for the full voyage and single 1-off days always cost more. Perhaps you got a break?

  19. The same issue has bee reported many times in the past while (for other ships) - but interestingly, not very recently. I had wondered if Princess Marketing had finally corrected the issue. It's an issue with Deluxe Balconies on Royal Class, but I don't see an issue there for the Minis. Either book with a Princess agent (CVP) or an independent TA. Another option is to book with a phantom third passenger and then cancel them out after a short while. I have yet to read any reliable answer directly from Princess Marketing as to why this booking edit was implemented. I have considered it a bug, but no idea what the reason for it is. ETA: Which Sun voyage? I don't see a problem booking Reserve Mini there after a quick look at a random Caribbean voyage next year.
  20. Where are you seeing that nonsense? Any guest can purchase internet plans that doesn't already have it provided in a package.
  21. You cannot just go in there and ask for cash. So, you are right in thinking they won't just give you the cash. I'd rather have the lower fare because we virtually always book independent tours.
