  1. Majestic has a library, so that is +2 beyond Royal.
  2. N/C for the Elite benefits. For the umpteenth time. 🤣
  3. It is nice to have the personal touch with a call, but they really ought to follow up with an email.
  4. Yes, switch the #2's - even if that isn't the end sleeping/living result they want. It is NP to swap the adults on board even if the youth is not being left on his own.
  5. They don't seem to have started back into the evening deck parties in Caribbean sector. Perhaps this coming Winter?? They seem to want to make the Piazza the party zone. There is a lame White & Gold night and I think that is about it.
  6. Is this going to be a trend or not? It would make more sense to ban smoking in casino and keep the closed-in, ventilated room for the smokers. Didn't realize a ship sailing out of Australia cannot have smoking indoors. Is this applicable when ship leaves Australian waters? Why can't we see this rule in North America? There is no smoking in hotels, airports, airlines, etc. Even some casinos as I understand it.
  7. You did not explain how much OBC you had to begin with and had before making changes. As you may have read from other posts, PCL does restore original OBC balance if possible before refunding a credit card. Also, when you cancelled the $40 excursion, it looks like you did not wait a beat for the OBC balance to be restored, so you were charged. You explained that you booked a higher cost excursion in Juneau - presumably to replace your original. You didn't say if you canceled the original first. If so, did you wait for the OBC to be restored? If not, you are going to be charged again, but the cancel of the original should restore as OBC since the system will look to restore your original OBC balance before using credit card.
  8. You might only get 1 on a short voyage. It is nice to get 2, especially when they do a second show in a second location. Hopefully, you get good ones. I was happy last time. I have also seen most of the long-time Princess favorites at least once.
  9. Don't bother unless Elite Member in Captain's Circle. Or in a Suite.
  10. Not allowed to pre-reserve any Casual Dining locations.
  11. The problem is that Grandpa is Guest #1 in his cabin and PCL doesn't allow swapping out #1.
  12. Yes, there have been a number of changes, but that gratuity has been there since the beginning. It is 17% BTW. Example: $39 = $33.33 + $5.67.
  13. The information provided about CA states that PCL deducts a fee to cover credit card charges. Nothing further is stated concerning administration of the pool funds.
  14. Even as a guy, I can see those are pretty hot buns. I am wondering where the matching set is for the ladies?
  15. You should also be aware that a portion of the SD cover charge ($35/$39) is for a gratuity. So, you have provided extra tip that way. If you feel the service warrants more, then by all means feel free to add some cash. But there is no expectation to do so. The same applies to charges at casual dining.
  16. But your reduction doesn't mean the groups you intend get nothing and it all goes to those you favor it to go to. It all goes into pool funds and your $10 will still be shared like my $16.
  17. That is a generic PCL number and not someone specific. It was likely broadcast as the source rather than the actual number.
  18. That could be true. I have not tried to set the thing without having it in my pocket I suppose. No idea, but it makes sense if it works that way.
  19. On second thought, I think maybe you were poking at me and I did not intend nor advise fraud. IDK when Grandpa decision is going to be made. Could be tomorrow, could be last minute. It would seem the right thing to do is make the claim when and if the decision is made to cancel. Then, work with Princess to sort out the other three. I know I would likely want to speak with Princess myself first to see how they would react to the situation before having the TA call. I'd be looking to talk with Customer Relations or Solutions to see what their attitude is. Might be able to pave the way a bit for the TA. I'd wonder if the TA has had a similar situation to deal with on behalf of a client and what the result was.
  20. Okay. Can cancel very last minute though. IDK about TA hours and such and depending on departure day of the week for the voyage. Terms of the insurance will indicate what is required notice for a medical cancellation. It is possible a guest may have a medical issue en route to the ship that would cause them to cancel.
  21. That is not a booking deal. It is the standard FCD offer Princess has had for eons.
  22. This one is excellent!!! Never heard it before. Deserves more than a Ha-Ha default emojii... 🤣👍
  23. LOL. Depends on the ship. Some of the production shows are much older than that. Hopefully, comedian(s) they bring on have new material.
  24. Actually, your post reminds me. My wife (I guess me too) doesn't like them tucking everything in military style. We make our own bed and then tell him at the outset he doesn't need - or shouldn't bother - to tuck it all in tight.
