  1. Go to your cruise planner...there you'll find a balance due for your upgraded gratuities. Pay the new balance....you can also call RCI directly to do this. Don't use your old luggage tags. You'll receive new ones via email or just get them from the porters at the terminal and write your new cabin number on them.
  2. You can get your SetSail at the terminal and also the porters have luggage tags. They'll hand them to you and just write your name and cabin number on them....Easy...We always get our tags at the terminal.
  3. Take a taxi to FLL and rent a car. Put your luggage in the trunk. If you're a Costco member check out their rental rates.
  4. No...if docking goes well and there's no fog issues. I wouldn't hesitate this flight time.
  5. Check directly with the company you'll use. We used the Budget shuttle when our rental was dropped off to get to our departing RCI ship. Also for your rental check Costco if you're a member....have always gotten our best rates.
  6. I agree...they will be able to purchase transfers from Seward to ANC directly with RCI. Our experience has been the train transfer with RCI or when having an early flight day end of cruise we've booked with Alaska Cruise Transfers (ACT). The train transfers has never been a cruise planner option as you must do this directly with the cruiseline and can be pre-purchased or once onboard if it hasn't sold out.
  7. Agree...it's one or the other...not both. We actually eat in the WJ exclusively now...done with the dining room.
  8. As far as Florida goes...Port Everglades has my vote.
  9. We were just on Liberty Oct 5-14. Ship is in great condition...a very good crew. WJ food was ok...room service was good. Ice show was good. Trivia was always packed and no more prizes...bring your own pencil.
  10. Look at the reviews of ES...it's gone down hill. We used to stay there a few years ago but not any longer. Hyatt Place (our now preferred) is also a great location which actually sits just behind ES.
  11. I thought it was one adult and one child booked in each of the two cabins. So the up bid wouldn't allow the other adult to have the benefit's.
  12. Try Hyatt Place...great location and good rates booking with ValueTrips. Rates are available for this year dates and 2024 rates should come out soon.
  13. Agree we made a reservation several months ago for Feb 2024 directly with Hyatt (member) and will cancel and go through ValueTrips once their 2024 schedule is released.
  14. Yes....one person 4 devices is the best option. You will all just use the same log on. We always do one person 2 devices.
  15. True fact. I always get the email one day after it appears on the website 🤪
  16. Depends on the hotel but more than likely (as posted above) there's a fee pp from hotel to cruiseport. We've booked Hilton Hampton Inn & Suites Blue Lagoon and they have a free shuttle from MIA to their hotel.
  17. We get the breakfast room service using the MDR menu. Also on occasion we order dessert from the MDR menu at night just before they close. One of the nice perks is being able to order from the MDR menu when staying in a GS and above.
  18. Rent a car and go to Sawgrass Mills Mall. Not a fan of the lounge's at FLL.
  19. Remember you might also be able to use your one device as a hot spot...this works for us when we're in the cabin. We purchase one person two devices and can then have 3.
  20. The only benefit we miss is the wifi. Other than that for us the other benefits we have no interest in. We book for the cabin accommodations. Dining... after many years we've become WJ's only now.
  21. We don't even come close to drinking enough. Drinks in the SL and our 5 vouchers pp daily that sometimes just go towards bottles of water or beer for our cabin steward ( we save them up and give him those end of cruise).
