  1. Since you mentioned that your husband has medical reasons for his diet, and it’s not a lifestyle choice, rennet is vegetarian for dietary purposes. It’s only not vegetarian as a lifestyle choice since animals are killed to obtain it.
  2. Well, if you take turns ordering drinks until you separate, at which time the drinks go on the correct account, you’re not going to be more than one drink off at the end of the night.
  3. Looks like Mallorca is the place to be. Not only do you get a full eclipse, you get to see a near total eclipse fade into the sunset.
  4. Unless they have rum or a half-decent whiskey, my wife is going to win the minibar swap out sweepstakes. Do not care at all for gin or scotch.
  5. Thanks. So, we’ll be good with two vodkas for my wife with tonic, and trade everything else for six Jack Daniels and Diet Cokes for me.😉
  6. If you’re in a suite and get a minibar set up, how do you order what you want, and how good is the selection? Also, does it come with mixers? If not, what do you do?
  7. Yes, they could, and would, since 3/4 time and waltzes are nearly synonymous.
  8. Updation is sort of a word meaning the process of updating. Not yet in most dictionaries, mostly used by people trying too hard to sound smart.
  9. They’ll be getting off in 3/4 time.
  10. If it’s nudists or swingers there may be a delay while they spray everything down with Lysol.
  11. No problem. It’s pronounced just like it’s spelled.
  12. Or you could arrange to eat with them in the MDR. Probably wouldn’t even be a charge.
  13. The last I knew you had to be invited by someone in a suite and the charge was $20/$30/$50 B/L/D.
  14. Perhaps, you didn’t know this, but most all cruise lines have a marketing team that has a wall with 15-20 specials that all amount to the same thing, then there are 1 or 2 which are actually better. Their main function is to occasionally throw a dart at the wall and implement whichever special it hit.
  15. They made a big jump effective 1/1/23, maybe that’s what got Celebrity to thinking. For bookings made on or after January 1, 2023: $25.00 USD per person per day for The Haven and Suites; $20.00 USD per person per day for Club Balcony Suite and below; For bookings made before January 1, 2023, that pre-pay their service charges before their sail date: $20.00 USD per person per day for The Haven and Suites; $18.00 USD per person per day for Club Balcony Suite; $16.00 USD per person per day for all other stateroom types
  16. But not quite as high as The Haven ($25), which is probably its most direct comparable.
  17. Whether it’s free or not, what do they do with items like sports coats, suits, silk, etc. if they don’t dry clean?
  18. That could explain it. Eclipse theater seats 1113 has 400 less passengers. Millennium theater only seats 900, but it has 1000 less passengers
  19. Yes, I can see that on a music cruise. But on a typical cruise they have two shows, and half the people don’t go to either one, leaving plenty of room. I wonder if E class theaters hold less than half, if they’re full all the time.
  20. Are the theaters smaller, relative to passenger count, in E-class ships? On several cruises on M and S class ships, we’ve never had a problem finding seats even when showing up 5 minutes before show time.
  21. When I log in and click on beverages, the page looks like this, and if I go to review confirmed packages, the details show up.
  22. It is a mess, and I doubt the Spanish government cares about contractual arrangements between the passengers and the cruise line.
  23. The Suite benefits link seems to be missing some things I frequently see being mentioned. Bar setup and free laundry come immediately to mind. Do you know of a comprehensive list anywhere?
  24. I don’t think so. They do (or did, I’m not sure) have two premium items on their MDR menus which you were charged for - A Lobster Tail and a Filet Mignon.
