  2. No worries - just trying to grab all the menus for our master list! Will be interesting to see if the other ships follow the same approach as Sky for Ocean Terrace.
  3. So is there an updated a la carte menu for the evenings which excludes the old set menu breakdown?
  4. Interesting article by Forbes which suggests Spellbound on Sun Princess could use MedallionClass to deliver some of it's trickery: It's easy to see how the the MedallionClass system could be used to create spellbinding effects in a magic show. There will be no need for mind-reading tricks to guess guests' names and likes or dislikes. A source close to Princess reveals that the system "will indeed be used to optimize the personalization of the experience but we're not able to go into detail. Would hate to ruin the surprise."
  5. Yes, I posted some pictures from another site of the big reveal on the Discovery Princess cruise:on the main Sun Princess thread
  6. Someone has posted on another site that the Secret Door has been just revealed as a partnership with the Magic Castle. "Spellbound". Behind the door would be a parlour bar, music room and a small theatre Guessing this was announced on Discovery Princess during the Magic Castle themed cruise - looks like CD DuVaul Gamble on stage.
  7. Casual dining on Sun Princess is most likely Alfredo's, O'Malley's Irish Pub and Kai Sushi - see the table of casual dining menus and what's included in the cover charge in this post
  8. Check out AllClear Travel Insurance for good cover on existing medical conditions. Make sure she has cruise cover included. Heard Staysure mentioned too if you want to compare quotes.
  9. Yes, all Princess ships now have Starlink
  10. Another teaser video from Princess - looks like alcohol features somewhere! 😁
  11. All the casual dining menus and options are listed in this thread
  12. Another journalist at the announcement in Barcelona said the 360 rollout change is starting from mid-October
  13. Vicki Johnson, Senior VP of Communications at Princess, has announced that they will be extending the 360 experience on Discovery Princess and Enchanted Princess to non-suite guests at a charge of $149 pp. However, it will continue as a suite perk so it will be subject to availability. She also said there were lots of things up their sleeves when asked about the secret black door on Sun Princess. See Shipmonk's article.for the announcement details.
  14. Sorry, looks like you are out of luck, based on this second black door teaser video from Princess!
  15. But the buffet itself has relocated to deck 9 - I think this is something different perhaps with table service. We will see...
  16. The above sounds interesting to me - a part of the Horizons Dining Room staffed all day long. This sounds a bit like the wonderful Quays on P&O Iona but with a table service.
  17. Just spotted this in press release - "including the Horizons Diner on Deck 8 offering breakfast, lunch and dinner favourites all day long". Now that's a different offering - a bit like The Quays on P&O Iona which we loved?
  18. The new renders with the press release: Umai Teppanyaki The Promenade
  19. So confirmation in the press release above of the Teppanyaki restaurant and that there will be a pop-up Catch by Rudi. Plus exclusive dishes and a Prime Rib carving trolley in the new Reserve and Signature Restaurants. A few other tidbits too but still holding back on the deck 17 Speciality Restaurant

  21. There's an existing thread on the same topic being updated with real experiences
  22. Thanks for posting your patters. I see they promoted the pop-up Alfredo's in Sabatini's on your first sea day - do you know if it was popular now the Casual Dining changes have been launched?
  23. Thanks for confirming. I was only looking because Princess UK invited some blogger/vloggers to a Sky Princess ship visit yesterday to promote features for families. They were also invited to film one of these Window Suites because they wanted them to become more well known and they are usually the last ones to sell! We usually go for Premium Suites which are exactly the same price it seems.
  24. Has anyone noticed that Window Suites on Royal Class ships are now coming up under the Mini Suite option rather than the Suite option? The price is in the same range as a suite but have yet to work if you get the same perks. Rather bizarre.
