NSW Health has Majestic at Tier 3 which means at least 20% have Covid. The president of Carnival Australia stated there were about 800 infected. So the 800 number is not merely based on social media speculation as some have questioned the accuracy of the number of cases. Ratings were bad for the preferred 18-49 demographic so the program didn’t attract many younger viewers. Back in my 30s it was their “casual elegance” that attracted me to Princess which their marketing is now moving further away from that experience…sad. Their VP of Sales touted the new series as being more beneficial than the original series which is doubtful to me but that’s the “Real” Princess management’s direction they’re taking Princess.

During her webinars the Princess VP of Sales enthusiastically touted TRLB as doing more for Princess Cruises than the original program. Lou33…thanks for the info & it’s just another issue with their wine service. It’s another example of why I’ll now bring my own wine due to their lack of inventory & honesty. Wonder how long it’ll be until they’re serving boxed wine.

Good to know…my LED night light looks like the photo in post #6 and it’s 0.5W which has worked onboard. I don’t prop the cover open & it provides sufficient illumination at night & unplug it during the day when it’s not needed.

Thanks…we have a combined total of $450 of OBC & wouldn’t want to lose it. We hope to use part of it to pay tips but are getting conflicting info. Our TA has been told it cannot be used for tips but real life experiences I’ve read on this board state tips are deducted from OBC. On Princess some types of OBC state they’re not usable for tips however they are paid using all types of OBC. It is a simple credit from which all types of debits are deducted. In about 6 weeks will learn whether tips can be paid using OBC or not.

Being our first Celebrity cruise their Moveup FAQs seems to indicate that OBC should not be lost? Isn’t OBC considered a promotion which is not lost with a Moveup? Trying to understand all of this because soon we’ll be within 30 days & Celebrity states that’s when Moveup offers begin. Does the upgrade include any additional promotions? The upgrade does not include any additional promotions. However, you get to keep whichever promotions you already have.

I completely agree…after 5 years it’s still an unreliable app for too many passengers.

Sorry…that was just a screenshot so you’ll need to go to the Apple App Store to download & install the update. Maybe they need to use Celebrity’s developers whose app was trouble free at check-in when adding the required info 45 days prior to boarding.
