  1. Pizza was $3 per order no matter how many were ordered. However on Royal-class ships for Alfredo/Gigi pizza it is $3 per pizza. Here’s a link to screenshots showing availability & pricing for a few items from specialty restaurants. https://profcruise.com/oceannow-delivery-menu-2022/
  2. For many years now have automatically received a cruise credit for each segment of a longer booking that could be booked as shorter cruises. As a solo you’ll get 2 credits for each 7 day cruise whether booked as B2B or as a single 14 day cruise. Four credits which since you’re already are at the elite level means nothing since Loyalty credit was eliminated. If you go to your Captain’s Circle Cruise History you will see the number of cruise credits for all cruises including future cruises. I had a 28 day cruise that could also be booked as 7-7-14 days and received 3 credits. You will receive an elite minibar for each segment of your cruise even when booked as 14 days. I call room service near the end of the first cruise to have them deliver my preferred setup for the second cruise which eliminates another swap.
  3. You can also view & cancel reservations on your cabin’s TV where you can also view menus which was easier for me than on a cell phone or tablet.
  4. For us the price difference was acceptable & their prices include many things that are added to the Princess cruise cost (internet, specialty restaurants, shuttles to city center, fitness classes, bottled water, soft drinks & specialty coffee, launderette, taxes & fees)…we’re booked for next year. 😊
  5. This Fall we’re booked for 24 days & last June made nightly 1800 reservations in Palm. Checking DMW on the app Princess has added a second nightly reservation at 1720 in Island. There are two extremes with DMW…none or too many reservations. 😳
  6. On Discovery’s initial cruises the reason given for no WM Dinner & CT was a lack of sufficient wine inventory & a delayed shipment of tableware for these special dinners…hopefully they’re now available. 🤞
  7. There have been too many unsolved issues for us & my patience is gone…it’s just not worth more frustration & stress. It’s time for us to try a different cruise line & to decide if we can trust Princess to provide as promised or to cancel all of their cruises after decades as our first choice for cruising.
  8. Thanks again…very helpful info. We’re booking Regatta’s 20-day “Alaska & California Treasures” (not a Grand Voyage) in September 2023 & got our preferred category…it’s nice to have only one flight.
  9. If I recall correctly Majestic didn’t have kiosks last October but don’t know if they’ve been eliminated fleetwide. I’ve been waiting for 5 weeks to get a reply about the incorrect refund. As recently as last winter would receive a phone call discussing any issues within a week. Refunds are supposed to be received within 4-6 weeks so I’m still within that timeframe. Although have read a post from someone who is still waiting for an $800 refund since December…awful customer service is becoming more common.
  10. We had noticed that the least & most expensive categories book early so got our preferred cabin 16 months in advance…an R-class ship 20 days from Vancouver to LA cruising Alaska & the West Coast. 😊
  11. Discovery did not have kiosks so had to stand in the GS line to get a printed copy which we did the day before the end of the cruise. Everything was correct however the emailed final statement received the day after the cruise was wrong. Our $260 of refundable credit was reduced by 25% & received no reply to my email sent to their director of CR. Just more lost trust in Princess’ ability to properly treat their guests & just one reason why we just booked Oceania & are close to canceling all of our Princess cruises.
  12. The WM Dinner is only available on Royal-class ships in the Wine Cellars located in the midship dining rooms. It’s $40/pp. & can be requested onboard…DINE Line or during the embarkation day lunch in a dining room has worked for me. Not available on Discovery’s inaugural & second cruise due to a low supply of wines & a delayed shipment of special tableware which also resulted in no Chef’s Table.
  13. As a result of all of the Princess issues we’re close to canceling our future cruises & are booking our first Oceania cruise instead…too many Princess disappointments for us as we’re reaching 500 days.
  14. I’ve only been able to schedule it onboard by calling room service ASAP. They would either come to our cabin or call to go over the menu…likely only a call during the pandemic.
  15. Thank you very much for the explanation of the O deposit procedure. So we’ll need to book onboard to get $250 deposits after our first O cruise…that option is not available post cruise using a TA, correct? My friends who cruise O have answered many of my questions but not about deposits. We’re eager to experience O & as our TA said she wasn’t surprised that we found our way to O and that it’d be a great fit for us after nearly 500 days with Princess.
  16. We have an Option on our first Oceania cruise & have a question about deposits. It’s a 20 day booking that can also be booked as 13 & 7 day segments and the Guest Statement shows a total deposit of $3,000 for the two of us (four $750 deposits). We’ve primarily cruised on Princess & in such situations deposit is based on how it’s booked & not on the number of shorter included cruises…one cruise, one deposit. I know there are too many uninformed Princess call center reps who provide too much incorrect info. I don’t know how common that happens with Oceania & thus seeking input from those who have sailed on Oceania. Any insights would be appreciated as we begin the process of moving up to a great Oceania cruise for a milestone birthday. Good friends speak highly about their preferred Oceania cruise line’s experiences & we’re eager to experience it. Thanks for any info.
  17. On Discovery pre-paid for a Crown Grill reservation due to reports about the difficulty of making reservations onboard. We had a free dinner included with our cruise’s booking which couldn’t be used in advance. On first day went to Guest Services to get either OBC or credit card refund. Supervisor approved c/c refund to be credited prior to the end of our 2 week cruise. That didn’t happen so they begrudgingly issued a refundable OBC but still have not received a refund check for any of our refundable credit.
  18. This photo might provide some info about your question.
  19. North America: https://www.princess.com/news/news_releases/2022/04/princess-cruises-introduces-all-inclusive-premier-package-offering-top-amenities-at-incredible-value.html
  20. That’s included with Princess Premier but Princess Prizes can also be purchased for anyone: For a one-time entry fee per stateroom of $20 per day, when purchased separately, every time an adult guest accesses their stateroom with their Medallion*, they will have the chance to win grand prizes that include $100,000 in cash and a cruise for two every year for the next decade, along with prizes won on every voyage that range from a cruise for two in a balcony stateroom, onboard cruise credits from $25 up to $250, wine tastings, and chef’s table dinners. Guests can also win entries for an end-of-cruise drawing in which someone will win at least $5,000 every voyage. https://www.princess.com/news/news_releases/2022/04/princess-cruises-introduces-all-inclusive-premier-package-offering-top-amenities-at-incredible-value.html
  21. Same for us…they’ve just scanned the Medallion.
  22. Hope you have better luck than us. 🤞 The app would not allow us to book our complimentary booking perk dinner & decided to pay in advance due to so many reports of no reservations available onboard. First day went to Guest Services to use our free meal credit and to get refundable OBC for our pre-paid dinner. After talking to his supervisor said my chargecard would be credited before the end of 2 week cruise…NOT! So they begrudgingly issued a $58 refundable credit shortly before the end of the cruise. Over a month later still haven’t received our check for all of my refundable credit which the emailed statement incorrectly reduced by 25% so emailed Customer Relations but no reply like previously. Posts state that refunds previously received within 4-6 weeks are now talking many months…one waiting since December.
  23. I feel the same way & that’s why I’m exploring other options for cruising & are about 50/50 on canceling our 24 days in the Fall. Too many decreases in the type of cruise experience many of us previously enjoyed on Princess. Those marketing slogans you wrote are what attracted many of us to be longtime loyal Princess passengers. I feel like President Reagan who stated that he didn’t leave the Democratic Party but they had left him…Princess is leaving me. If I wanted a booze cruise would book Carnival…NOT!!! 🤨
  24. “John & the Hucksters”. 🤪 His zeal to turn Princess into a gambling booze cruise continues as they seek to differentiate the Princess experience between Carnival and HAL/Cunard. Been reading of many receiving casino rates including one who hadn’t sailed Princess in 10 years. It’s already more difficult to make specialty restaurant reservations due to so many receiving it as a booking benefit & it will get even more difficult with these Premiere dinners. DMW does not provide the experience promised & the app is unreliable for too many guests. Instead of solving these problems Padgett puts resources towards creating schemes such as Premiere & more ways to gamble. Obviously they need to return to profitability however Princess Premiere is not remotely cost effective for my way of cruising.
