  1. Yes, the shareholder OBC should show up under payments in the personalizer. I have a couple of other credits (from the TA and as part of the Princess booking), but not the shareholder one yet.
  2. On most Australian-based cruises, the gratuities are included in the fare.
  3. It could have been buffed up a bit, or maybe even a good cleaning could have brightened it up.
  4. I believe it is the same tiger and it is just the light that is making it look different. I have had a quick look at some images on the internet of the Pacific Dawn years ago and the tiger is definitely the same.🙂
  5. We had attained elite status before 2009.🙂 I don't know which year.
  6. I think that Apia (Samoa) and Tahiti are still closed as well as NZ. That would leave Fiji and Hawaii with very long stretches of sea days.
  7. Princess didn't have much choice but to cancel the Hawaii/Tahiti cruise. Too many of the ports on this itinerary are still closed, with no guarantee of when they will open.
  8. My guess is that NZ will open up in time for the summer cruising season, but that they are waiting to see how the initial cruises go in Australia. Stki has a point - that Princess might decide to cancel the around Australia because it is so long. But, that itinerary is very popular so they might be reluctant to cancel.
  9. Our photos are not large. My husband's photo is 348 KB but mine is only 20 KB. Maybe I don't want them to see me too clearly. 😁
  10. I think you are pretty safe with the around Aust in October. As Geoff said, the only reason it could be cancelled is if WA closes its borders. I feel that that is rather unlikely now.
  11. After I received the email from Princess today, I logged on for a live chat to answer the question in the timing of the health questionnaire (more than 24 hours before boarding) and the RAT test (within 24 hours). I also said that reference is made to 'boarding' but we only have a check in time and would have to estimate our boarding time. The agent mentioned that we can select a boarding time (we have already) 30 days before the cruise. Apparently they don't keep their stories straight.
  12. No. The discussion on the webinar indicated that people who are in the green lane will have an expedited check-in. Others will have to sort out issues in the terminal. Maybe they will actually have a sign 'green lane'. 😁
  13. It is too soon to choose an arrival time for an August cruise. Our first cruise is 26th June. We were able to choose our departure time slot 60 days before the cruise. The time slots opened around 10pm, but the earliest time slot (11am - 11.30am) was still available several days later. The time slot for the end of the cruise hasn't opened yet even though it is within 60 days.
  14. Yesterday I had the window on the live chat close four times before I finally succeeded. This morning (about an hour ago) I got through, probably just before the window was due to close. I understand your frustration with the mobile and the PC. My husband would not have had the patience to do it, but I have persevered over a few days and finally got a column of nine green ticks. We will be in the green lane.🙂
  15. Yep. I wrote my previous post before reading to the end of the posts. I had been on hold for a live chat with Princess and didn't want to move away from that screen to read this forum.
  16. I am not a betting person, but I would lay money on Princess filling in the 35 days with several shorter cruises, initially domestic ones. P.S. I see that Princess has already announced cruises to fill in the 35 days.
  17. We received email from Princess this morning containing the info we got from the webinar and from our chats on this forum. I accessed a live chat and asked the question that Julie had posed last week - the health questionnaire has to be filled out more than 24 hours before boarding, but the RAT test has to be within 24 hours. The agent confirmed that we can complete the health questionnaire as requested, then add the RAT test results later. We will fill out the health questionnaire in the morning before the day of departure and do the RAT tests later in the afternoon. That will meet their requirements.
  18. In the Princess webinar they didn't say that people who tested positive would be off-loaded at the next port of call. That would create a problem because Princess would have to pay for a quarantine hotel, then get them home later. No. The clear indication was that a person who tests positive will stay on the ship. In the webinar they said that if someone is positive for five days of their seven day cruise, they would be credited with that proportion of their cruise far as a Future Cruise Credit. When the ship returns to port, Princess will pay for appropriate transport home if the person lives within two hours' drive of the port. If they live further away, Princess will transport them to a quarantine hotel and pay the cost of accommodation and meals.
  19. Princess has announced that on the first two or three cruises, they will have 50% capacity. Following cruises will have several cabins reserved for possible quarantine so we can only estimate that the capacity might be 90%.
  20. I have been ploughing through the requirements to register details on the Princess Medallion app. I don't know what to put for Travel Information. So far I have "starting your journey" (one of the two options), "Private Car" then "Own car". Does this page only have to be filled out if we have bought Princess transfers? Otherwise some of the questions are silly. My husband has lost patience with the Medallion app. He grumbled "We have to spend two weeks filling out stuff for a one week cruise".
