I’m on MG now. I woke up at 2 minutes before midnight and checked in at 12:01 and got the 10:00 time slot. That’s A02. We ended up running late and got in the 11:30 line. When we walked through the door, there was a lady walking around with a card with an A on it so we followed her. That may have been the fastest time I’ve gotten on a ship.

I was moved from a 1A to a 7C cabin by Carnival

Yay! Good for you! -
As previously stated, no tickets on carnival. Royal Caribbean does use tickets for some silly reason. sometimes I just feed cash into the machine, that way there’s no record on my S&S card. 😁 Oh honey, no, I didn’t lose too much….

I think I saw there were some shuttles on the Nassau pier. I really don’t want to expend all my energy walking in the sun from the ship into Nassau. I won’t have any energy to walk around once I get there. How much are these shuttles ?

Do 5-day Cruises have an 80's Night Party?

I LOVE 80s parties!!!! 😎🎈🌴 -
I was thinking about going on the Bolt. Can you make it go slow?

Hmmm. Macaroons have got to be better than those pink cookies. Maybe I will see about those. I haven’t had the berries in years because they just look unappetizing. The one time I didn’t and wished I did was on a Get Away cruise and the strawberries had little tuxedos on them. LOL.
-
Really?! I was going to ask for those next time since I don’t eat the strawberries. I figured the cookies were like the ones in the coffee shop, no? Or are they like the buffet cookies?

This is why I never do Mexico. Once was enough and I have not returned. That’s not to say other ports aren’t exactly safe, but my $$$ is not going to be spent in Mexico until they get their act together with regard to safety, which I am guessing will not be in my lifetime. And yes, I realize that’s like saying I’m not visiting Miami because Cleveland has safety problems. Don’t care. -
I am Plat and do self assist. Usually they request people meet in a dining room or bar at 630 am. I really struggle to get some type of breakfast and get there by that time. In fact, I have missed it on occasion. Since I have a 9-plus hour drive ahead of me, is there something else I can do? I’m on Deck 12 so do they dismiss starting with Deck 1 for self assist ? Or how does that work?

Bravo to you for thinking ahead. My friend’s husband ordered a 2-layer choc cake for us 4 women. It was there when we arrived. There were no plates, or forks, no knife or napkins delivered with it. 🤷♀️ And it wasn’t even covered at all. 🙄 We probably should have immediately eaten it by going to get all the utensils. Instead, it just sat there. In an INTERIOR cabin with FOUR women, you can imagine how crammed it was. As I’m not used to having a cake on the ONLY flat surface in the cabin, later that night, I came in the somewhat dimly lit room and promptly set my purse in it. 😁 My advice is to make sure you have delivered all the things you need to eat it immediately.

Thanks Ninjacat! She’s senior Russian Blue from a rescue. Her name is Stevie Nicks. 😎

Try doing cruise time parking& shuttle. Exceptional company. They run all day and are very reasonable. They were there waiting for us when we got off early from the ship. https://www.cruisetimeparking.com

I also have a better offer. I also have the $500 OBC offer with play later. Well, I thought I was missing something, but apparently not. Well, I thought I was missing something, but apparently not. Thanks

They will probably be different for everyone. I’m just guessing. Just sign in and look at your offers and you can see them. They will probably be different for everyone. I’m just guessing. Just sign in and look at your offers and you can see them.

I did not get an email. I just looked in my offers.

Received for the first time ever. Not really impressed, TBH. What am I missing? How is this a deal? A GUARANTEED balcony on MG in April for $879 pp. (Ugh. Spring Break🙄). No play money. Drinks only in casino. And I may be mistaken but I think that is only for me. We’re already going in December and for basically the same $ amount except we CHOSE our cabin, which I am kinda fussy about. I already get priority boarding so that’s not a benefit. Kinda disappointing really. Am I missing something? Should we go just to get better Ultra offers later?

That’s what I said. Now I drag my husband outside to play on the driveway.

Left bag in bar, casino voucher taken..

Carnival does not use vouchers. Nobody can spend any winnings or add any $$ to a machine if a card is left behind because a 4-digit pin is needed. Yes, it’s a PIA sometimes but it works well for security purposes. -

You leave the card in the machine as you play. I have a lanyard on mine so I am not likely to leave it behind. I don’t take issue with using my sea pass as a “credit card” and will do just that. I’ve decided to just throw all the vouchers in my purse for the night. I can cash them at the end of the cruise. I’m used to having a big credit card bill at the end of a cruise, which I then turn into cash back or travel points towards another cruise. I play on someone else’s money. 😉 -

Um. Nope. Not really. I can see my winnings at any given time by simply pressing a button on the machine. Having the winnings put back on her card would have alleviated the exact scenario which OP described. If a person mistakenly leaves their card in the machine after having cashed out, it’s worthless to a thief. In any event, hopefully I can hang on to my purse, my card, my drink and now a voucher. -

Thanks for answering my question about the purpose of a voucher. I’m sort of new to RC and haven’t sailed on RC since I was in my early 20s. I’m a slot player on Carnival and this voucher thing sounds wacky. Why don’t they load your cash back onto your card, like Carnival? Sometimes I hop around from machine to machine. Am I supposed to carry around a bunch of vouchers every time I cash out of a machine? Am I missing something? -

I’m sorry this happened to you OP. Would someone please explain what a voucher is and it’s purpose? If you “cash out” why do you not have actual cash rather than a voucher?
