  1. You may be right, however I was told 2 years when I bought them.
  2. I need to check this out. I bought some FCD's awhile back, long since expired, but I guess I just assumed that they worked like the one's for Princess. After 2 years you get your money back although you can request an additional 2 years if you need to.
  3. We booked a BD balcony guarantee several years ago and were assigned a BA balcony on the deck with the extended balconies. Made a believer out of me!
  4. Actually Florida law is written a little differently....it is worded so that the taxi driver is not liable if children are not restrained, tho parents or adult riders may be.
  5. You may actually want to check with Uber....many Taxis offer car seats for children, so Uber may surprise you.
  6. Consider taking an uber to the Brightline train in Fort Lauderdale which will plant you in Orlando in 3 hrs or so. Rent your car in Orlando which has some of the lowest rental rates in the country.
  7. Last I knew you must go to the excursion desk onboard to book this tour. It has very limited availability, as you likely know, so you need to boogie over to the desk right away.
  8. This is true. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Tips are gravy and they work hard to extract every dime from the passengers. Some of the tales that I have heard them spin would make a great fantasy movie.
  9. I am thinking that you must be able to park at your Florida property for as long as you need. Many snowbirds actually leave a car in Florida 12 months a year. So it sounds like you need a way to get from your Florida location to PE or POM. Or have I missed something obvious?
  10. We only, ever, use Park n Go....shuttle included. Rates are variable, dependent on time of year, demand, etc. Since the recent increase in rates for the Port Garage parking, the rates are more compeitive.
  11. Princess treats each of you as an individual account holder. So each of you can purchase wifi on your own account. This is also true of the Plus or Premier package. But the caveat here is that if one of you buys the Plus, then both of you must buy the Plus. (no sharing, tsk, tsk)
  12. Where are the restaurants that do not refill for free? (none in my circle in South Florida. I know that there are many in foreign lands.)
  13. This should be accurate. Clearly this is each way.
  14. Not correct. All expenses are displayed on the cabin TV, including grats. Any OBC is credited to your onboard account....and that includes grats. You will receive, overnight on your last night, a statement of what you owe which should match the amount that you can see on TV.
  15. Login to your Princess.com account.....find your sailing....use the manage this sailing feature to do your dining thing.

    Refund

Im going to guess that you found a lower price for a particular sailing, you had already paid in full for the sailing, now you would like Princess to send you the difference. Anywhere close? IMO, it can take almost 90 days for something like that to be processed. You can call Customer Service, wait on hold for most of the rest of your life, then ask about the status of your claim.
  17. It would not hurt to check with Budget or Avis, most companies have no drop off fees within the state of Florida. Personally I had a ridiculously cheap rental when I drove from home to SFB. Seems they were anxious to have cars returned to the SFB location.
  18. Of course you know that the terminal in FLL offers free wifi. To familiarize yourself with an Uber app, many actually use it from their home to go to the grocery store or doctor and back. Not always the cheapest, but it's about learning how it works.
  19. No, you must compose an email that contains the information that is listed on the SHB page, and attach a copy of your shareholder certificate. Then use the email address to send both items to Princess.
  20. There is little doubt that Uber/Lyft would do this for you.
  21. Usually you can use the app or website for your cruise line that will allow you to do this.
  22. Other reports are that no 'fill up the ship' deals are to be had. Unsold cabins are given to employees at seriously reduced rates. Or to their families/relatives. If you really want to book something last minute I suggest that you find a TA who will work with you to make it happen.
  23. And you know that there is $$$$ involved. No one in this day and age does anything like this without serious reimbursement. It would have been fun to eavesdrop on the sales pitch that http://stockperks.com made to Carnival to get their business.
  24. The great thing, IMO,of all those listed is that they have a total, walk around Promenade deck. I spent a ton of time on our sailing just hanging out, watching for wildlife on the very front of the ship. Sadly, the Royal class ships have no such provision.

    CVP

To my knowledge, a CVP is a salary based position. No commission is involved. Their ability to offer a 'deal' is severely limited. This may have changed somewhat since the Pandemic.
