  1. If you pay pre cruise, you are already getting a discounted price. So no, you don’t get credit. If you only need internet for a day or 2, you will get the credit from the on board price. Usually $26-30 per day.
  2. I did this in Sept. Agree with above poster. It was much better than sitting in the airport for 7-8 hrs. Plus you can’t check bags until 3-4 hours before flight.
  3. You mentioned a Suite….you may not need a drink package. https://www.royalcaribbean.com/faq/questions/what-are-the-benefits-of-the-suites-program?
  4. I think they could if it was tweaked to a shorter 70-120 day cruise. Other cruise lines do this very successfully, and at lower price, albeit still expensive. This one was definitely a niche cruise, that most probably could never afford, but maybe could a shorter length. I know for me personally, I couldn’t handle either, but lots could. I’m waiting to see how everyone is feeling at the 3 month, 6 month range, 9 month mark. 😉
  5. I have not done the Anthem, but I have done the ports. I did NZ in Apr. as part of a B5B on the Ovation. We did miss 2 NZ ports because of weather, and another 1 on the TP. NZ was chilly and the Asia ports, hot and humid. I didn’t prefer one over the other, so it really comes down to your preferences. If you are LOTR fans, NZ may be better for you. I remember excursions with anything having to do with LOTR were pricey. I did just book the Anthem B2B for Apr/2025, since I love Singapore and it is going to ports I have never been too, except Vietnam.
  6. I think you meant to say “check luggage”. You definitely want those documents in your carry on.
  7. I’m a glass half full person. If I worried about what could or would happen 6 months to 2 years in advance, I would be at the Drs. monthly with ulcers. Things happen and there is nothing we can do about it. It is what it is. I just put negative Nellie’s (or Ned’s) on my ignore list. Makes it much easier to find important info that comes up, like Deployment, which this thread is about.
  8. Yes, asking the cabin attendant is a last resort. I have known 2 personal situations, where it was asked in advance, but was not done. I don’t blame steward/stewardess, it’s the communication getting the info to them.
  9. Maybe I will try that in Oct. Singapore Sling is definitely to sweet for me normally, but I had to try one.
  10. Your cabin attendant can also change it once you board.
  11. I never received either, so maybe I will get something. I turned Diamond back in 2019, but have only sailed Carnival once since then. I was saving my dinner to share with a friend. The plan was the Oct/2024 TP on the Panorama.
  12. Be prepared for the price tag on that Singapore Sling at the Longbar at Raffles. But it’s the history and novelty, so you just pay it. LOL
  13. Let me look around. I’m following a few vloggers and can’t remember their name. It was from a distance and just a short clip of the show, but I recognized the hair. LOL Edit…found it. About the 1:16 mark https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7gNY3Baqgkk
  14. Yup, saw this on a vloggers video on YouTube. I said to myself, That’s Laura up there, shaking her groove thing…haha
  15. I have been through 4 of these. I just wish it was this many people.. I have 2 more coming up and I avoid the crowds.
  16. I know because she is missing 2 cruises she sailed with me. They don’t show on her past cruises. I also know because of all the past cruises she sailed with me, which she got credit for. What’s funny is my youngest got credit for one cruise (both daughters), but my oldest was only on 2000 cruise. So my oldest should show all the cruises she sailed with me.
  17. Good luck. My oldest daughter is missing 14 days from 1998 and 2000 cruises, and we have both tried numerous times to get her credit, both onboard with LA and calling. I even have boarding pics. It just happens in their records, the booking number is missing on both hers and my C&A number. They couldn’t even find by her birthday. I think our next step is writing admin offices. If it was a couple days, probably wouldn’t care, but 14 is a good chunk. She did retain the correct status a/o 2000 when she last cruised with me, and was 18. I hope you have better luck.
  18. The 2 Anthem sailings for April 2025 just came up for booking last week. They are unique itineraries, so many on here started talking about them. Cruiseboy veered a bit off track on what some of us cruisers were talking about, and started talking about the Anthem moving to Singapore next Fall (2024). I can see how it got confusing. Since this thread is about 2025-2026 deployment, the Anthem 2025 itineraries are what we were originally discussing.
  19. For the B2B Anthem 2025 cruise, I calculated $185 per night for a Virtual Balcony for 27 nights (about $5k total). I don’t do balconies for personal reasons. I haven’t been able to plug in the DP340 code yet for the TP, but will have my TA try on the 27th. I have done numerous TA’s and numerous TP’s on the usual Sydney-Hawaii, so this for me is unique, since it’s all new ports, except Singapore and Vietnam. An extra bonus is it gets me home to Seattle, so it saves me money on airfare one way. So for me , it’s a good deal.
  20. I did this excursion in 2019 on the Voyager. It was outstanding. You will enjoy it. Have a great time. Singapore is one of my favorite cities. I will going back in Oct/2024, and Apr/2025.
  21. I noticed that also…$500 for TP and $250 for 12 night. I will bring that up to TA when I pay deposit on the 27th.
  22. I wonder if it’s time for dry dock? Its last short cruises from Singapore, end about a month before the April 13 cruise.
  23. Interesting, since we get back to Seattle on May 8 with an overnight, and debark on May 9. I’m looking at the confirmation email from Royal, with the itinerary attached.
