    We always tip bartenders and bar waiters with cash just about every drink. I see many others doing the same on our Celebrity cruises. We tip our room stewards and dining staff cash on the last night of the cruise.

    Ii have been thinking of going to NRD for this reason. Haven't done it yet. but certainly considering. Seems they are really jacking up the price for refundable.

    You can get any of the Sushi on 5 drinks at the World Class Bar. Just ask. My vote is also for the Zacapa Old Fashioned there. Does everyone know that the grated ingredient is dark chocolate? French Caribbean in the afternoon. It is made with coconut rum.

    If you register with X to get your Captain's Club number, there will be a list of Elite and above activities in your cabin. Also, I have only see this held in the Sky Lounge on S class ships.

    After the new RCI terminal opens next week, who will be using the older RCI terminal, please? And where will NCL be docking?

    Can anyone shed further light on the possible Galveston situation? I would be delighted, even with an older ship. We can drive to that port...long way, but have done it before.

    Someone mentioned a "genie" reserving show seating on RCI. Rows of prime seating are set aside for suites every evening show in the theater on X.

    I don't know if the separate suite entrance and a suite lounge as described above at the Miami port. The above does describe the suite experience at Ft. Lauderdale.

    You have to call X to get the points applied properly. The portal for the card points apparently doesn't work. I had to do this a few months ago.

    Carnival is requiring boosters for those sailing over 15 night cruises. I was very surprised about that, but it is on their website.

    I suggest you try your drink package for a couple of days to see if you really need to upgrade. MIxed drinks at most bars are made with well liquor unless you specify a premium brand. There are some higher end wines on the premium package, but, again, you may be content with the classic. I have done both and can live with either.

    I had the filet from the children's menu both in July and in my recent Sept.-Oct. cruises on Equinox.I never ask for a menu, I just order the children's filet This was in Luminae. I had it several times.

    Those "high tops" in the Oceanview cafe are just like the set up on RCI ships buffets. Looks like the local drug store/soda fountain when I was a kid.
