Hello, I have not tried it. This is chiefly because I read a copy of his book from the library on Silhouette. It was not until page 380 that I found anything I would want to eat. Regards, Cublet

Hello, Not a lot of detail. Says "one of the engines......" - the Quantum does have four of them. Regards, Cublet -
Engine problems on the Quantum of the Seas
cublet replied to Ben Nicholls's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Hello, Interesting that RCI has just announced (via FB) the same sort of thing for its Anthem sailing of 23rd September. There appears to be a pattern. Regards, Cublet -
Pre cruise covid questionnaire
cublet replied to FamilyCruiserUK's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Hello, The OP query was regarding a 'vaccination questionnaire' not the 'health questionnaire'. The first I have not heard about, the second I am familiar with. Regards, Cublet -
Kettle in Junior Suite on Voyager of the Seas
cublet replied to Liv's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Hello, Depends on the region (and in all cabins): Europe usually yes, UK departures definitely yes. But kettle or no kettle, JS comes with a Lavazza coffee pod machine. Regards, Cublet -
Washcloths in Staterooms in Europe?
cublet replied to dianajo67's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Hello, 'Washcloth' I do not know about. 'Facecloth' = 'Flannel' is for personal use and is available if not already in your stateroom bathroom. 'Dishcloth' is for washing dishes and is not provided (so I take my own). Regards, Cublet -
Live - Sky Princess - Norway Fjords - 11 June - 14 nights
cublet replied to Airwavey's topic in Princess Cruises
Hello, I would like to gatecrash this thread with the following. I boarded a coach at 07:15 Saturday morning from Celebrity Silhouette. And there I remained until 17:30 when the said coach arrived at my local (Bristol) drop-off point having waited for Sky Princess passengers to disembark. This latter activity was not helped by some idiot setting-off the fire alarm in the luggage reclaim hall. Listening to some of the coach drivers' conversation during the morning, some had been informed Friday evening of the forecast late arrival of the Sky Princess though there were mixed messages, discussed above, as to why. Solo Trip - Independence of the Seas - July 4, 2022
cublet replied to HealthCraig's topic in LGBTQIA+ Roll Calls
Hello, The LGBTQ+ meets have, over a number of years, moved around the ship with no fixed location. In recent years it has settled in the Champagne / R Bar. It's location can be checked either in the 'Cruise Compass' delivered daily to your cabin or by checking the RCI app (when it's working!!) If the 'Community Notice Board', by Guest relations still operates, you can write a card of your own proposing an alternative time and venue. There is also a 'solos' daily meeting and lunch together though usually hosted by a youngster from the activities' team that always gave the impression he wished to be somewhere else. But you never know your luck! One thing of note re your sailing date: I was on Indy departing on 4th July (forget the year) and expected fireworks (at least) and maybe Sousa played over the ship's speakers - but there was nothing and that came as both a surprise and disappointment. Hello, For anyone interested in B2B arrangements, Eurofins is currently setting-up ‘shop’ in the meeting room adjacent to the Sky Lounge. Regards, Cublet -
Hello, Judging by the adverts and promo videos played on a constant loop on stateroom TVs, there are no passengers at all over about 45 years of age. Regards, Cublet

And yesterday we had to complete a seating plan on our excursion's coach that we (I) had not had to do on earlier trips. No doubt to aid contact tracing. Cublet -

Is it a mistake to be last cruise before repositioning?
cublet replied to realnice46's topic in Celebrity Cruises
Hello, Whilst this does not apply to the OP’s situation, I’ve found the pre-relocation cruise to be very heavily subscribed by residents of the post relocation inhabitants. Regards, Cublet -

Why doesn't Celebrity have coffee makers in their verandas?
cublet replied to fstuff1's topic in Celebrity Cruises
Hello, It is there, on and working today 12th June. The fact that people don’t seem able to see, and use, the trash can next to it is another matter. Regards, Cublet -
Why doesn't Celebrity have coffee makers in their verandas?
cublet replied to fstuff1's topic in Celebrity Cruises
Hello, Perhaps you would be so good as to explain something to me. There were many more cuts of bacon than we have in the UK now, predominantly 'Back' and 'Streaky' - one of the missing cuts is 'middle cut' that is the back and streaky still joined. Whenever I see 'American' bacon in the Oceanview cafe or wherever, I always wonder what has happened to the 'back' bacon bit of the animal? Does it have another life in another dish elsewhere? Appreciate your responses. Regards, Cublet -

Hello, To say I hate tea is putting it a bit strong. I only drink it once or twice a year when calling into Madeira and taking Tea at Reid's Hotel. Regards, Cublet -
Hello, I think it would depend on the size of the tip. Regards, Cublet

Hello, I have a couple of hopes re the app: 1) The non appearance of my restaurant and excursions' bookings is not a true representation of reality; 2) The currency indicator before my OBC figures of a '$' should be '£' - either that or the figurers should be increased by approx 25%. To misquote Dr Leonard McCoy freely, "It might be progress Jim, but not as we know it". Regards, Cublet
-
Hello, I think it's the current promo being sloppily worded. Up to, say, two weeks ago, there was no mention of OBC but "Shore Excursion credit". After numerous calls from passengers and TA's that wanted to know if the credit for for excursions only, the wording was changed to what we have now that is supposed to be better - though that is a matter of opinion. Regards, Cublet

Hello, Yes I did that but even they become repetitive after a while. Moreover, the jackets of the jacket potatoes were soggy and I like a 'crunch'. Regards, Cublet
