If you are in a suite, you should also be getting 2 bottles of water every evening. I've stopped by any bar and asked for water. Sometimes, they scan my medallion, sometimes, they just handed it to me. Most recent was October 2022 cruise. I can't explain why you are not able to get water with your package. Seems very strange.

At least Alfredo was back, but that doesn't look like a trout fillet to me.

Now that you are going to work on itinerary, my vote goes for a smaller Grand Class ship like the Grand or Sapphire in/out of Vancouver. Looks like Princess is not returning the Coral to the US...bummer.

I have been watching this and other threads since there seems to be so much confusion. I just pulled up Princess Plus. I would go to someone onboard and show them the link that includes bottled water. I am sorry to hear of your dad's passing. I would make sure to speak to a supervisor if you do not get a satisfactory reply from a phone agent. Do you have a travel agent? This may have to be escalated to Customer Resolutions Department. Good Luck

@HammergirlYou will get more information if you let the other posters know which ship and/or departure port you are looking at. Princess has been doing Alaska for many, many years. They are the top itinerary for Alaska. Will your trip include Glacier Bay? Will you be doing a round trip out of Seattle (more sea days)? Are you looking at a Royal Class ship or a Grand Class ship? Is it a 5, 7, 10 or b2b cruise?

I was one of those that pre-purchased a package (Plus) at the old price ($50) when they announced the increase. Since then, I have booked another cruise without any packages. I am not a drinker. I am an elite that can purchase the internet separately from the package at 50%. I often times do cruise in a suite, but don't mind paying that on the side. I will get my specialty coffee fix in the morning. I have CCL stock OBC to help defer the drinks I occasionally have. Hmmmm. Instead of buying a beverage package, apply the cost to upgrade your stateroom. (hush, you did not hear that from me). I am not interested in the new desserts nor the gym classes. I am even less interested in the photo package and stupid door opening raffle. It was a nice run with Princess. Not sure what I will do after 2023 (multiple cruises booked). We had a wonderful relationship. Sad to see a breakup. Not saying ... only a thought.

I probably won't be much help since I always take Princess Insurance. It's just easier, less complicated, and age appropriate. But I have often wondered if other insurance would cover a single supplement for your traveling companion. I know you often travel solo, this may not apply. I have terrific health insurance and that seems to be a difference (that I don't need). Don't know what Princess 150% of cost means verses USAA 1500. USAA is a great company. Is this an insurance plan or covered by their Credit Card?

I am sorry to hear that you missed Mystery Island. You had mentioned that one family departed on a previous post and now a medical evac that required a return (to the same port?). WIshing both passengers and families well. At least you got in quite a lot of activities in the (sea day) morning. Oh...to have youth and energy on your side. I'm just fortunate to get up to eat and wander.

I am wondering who are receiving these calls? My account is tagged that I have a treated agent and thus far have not been called. (Nor would I answer unknown numbers). Are these calls going out only to passengers who either use a Princess agent or make their own reservations? And why isn’t Princess addressing this? Haven’t a few asked?

And still no explanation. Wake me when someone solves the mystery.

Room service used to have the only “real” chocolate layered cake on the ship. It was delicious. Hasn’t been seen since restart (maybe even before). Sad to hear of your selection.

I am not sure exactly what happened to you. Booked in October 2022 (before changes) Cruising in May 2023 (after Feb 20 changes) Ordered Medallion before Feb 20 February 18 - tried to order medallion. Were you notified at check out that there would be a $10 shipping fee? Did you customize your medallion? What does booking under Love Boat Sale have anything to do with shipping cost? When I recently ordered my Medallion for a future cruise (But before the changes), my order shows no shipping charge. Will I be charged when/after they ship it? They did not ask for any credit card payment or information.

Incorrect, you do not need to have an active booking. incorrect, do not get him/her a Captain Circle number before booking. It will negate the referral. You can book a cruise as a single or Mr. TBA and then add second passenger later

If you requested anything from Princess (catalog, a fare, etc), you are assigned a Captain Circle number, I had trouble with my supinated. Further research showed she was with Holland American, but never Princess. A phone call fixed that.

I’m not sure a taxi can fit all 4 of you AND luggage. Cheapest way to get to the airport. Check to see if there is a bus shuttle service to the airport. Last option would be Princess Transfers. You will need to clear customs and immigrations at the airport. This will be your hold up for a 1 pm flight. Hope for the best, Expect a delay.

What an excellent idea! Make sure your daughters’ bags are by your door. Make sure they are tagged with your disembarkation tags. You can always request more. Have them self disembark/walk off unassisted. Usually this is the first group off…before you. Have them waiting for you.

No, I don’t think we have been on the same ship. I avoid vacation times and most Caribbean voyages. I forgot about the ironing…. I certainly do not do that chore at home. Thanks for the reminder! Look forward to the day you and I are on the same ship. Goes for many who I have developed a “friendship” with here.

Another inconsistency? How would you know? Do you load your clothes and detergent, then cross your fingers? I would be happy if they offered free coin laundry to elites. Imagine how much Princess would save if they didn’t have to do elites’ laundry.
