My dh once walked into the wrong house! We were visiting my son in NJ and dh had gone out and come back and got the houses mixed up.
A woman was in the kitchen and just said "hi, can I help you?" I told him he could have been shot!

Was your sailing last month 1/7? As we were having a party at 2am in our cabin and balcony at that time. If so, the friends were not Interlopers but Haven inside occupants.
No.

We prefer the Yacht Club over the Haven. The menu in the Haven is the same every day. One need not spend money on specialty dining as the YC menu varies from day to day. Guests in the Yacht Club will not be bothered by other YC guests that book more than one cabin, throwing footballs or frisbees like on the Haven pool deck. Live music in the exclusive Yacht Club suite lounge called TopSail Lounge in evenings.
My take. I enjoyed the Haven restaurant, even though it doesn't change. DH still talks about how he had lobster every night. I also like how they do breakfast.
NCL's policy on water is just crazy.
Our cruise on Norwegian Joy Haven was overrun with kids. No adult could use the pool And the hot tub was always taken by this couple that talked so loudly, the whole ship knew all their business. How much they had in the bank, the properties they owned, etc.
However, on MSC Seashore we were awakened by a loud party next door about 2 AM two nights.
Thinking about it now, I think they were people from the casino, (doesn't it close about that time?), the people next door were on a Casino booking. I don't think their guests were YC people, they were the dreaded interlopers, I believe. Invited by our next door neighbors,
No interlopers in the Haven.
NCL has better (great) bartenders in the Haven.

Currently on Symphony and JR’s is $14.99. The breakfast offering
has a few charges for “premium” items if you want them. This ship has both El Loco and JR’s.
What is considered "premium?"

Anyone who has done park and go out of Ft Lauderdale cruise terminal, how easy was pick up after the cruise?
Do you park your own car and take the keys or do they do it?

We did. Several years ago. We went to the casino. Great drink service and we won in the casino.

I've always heard that the Epic's Haven was the nicest. Now I don't know.🙄
I looked at prices (not recently) and they were the same if not higher than the Breakaway class, plus I'm not too crazy about going out of Pt. C. and Epic is older. Some reviews I've read say she looks her age, although, of course, I get replies of "oh no, all Norwegian ships are in tip top condition."

Apparently BEYOND..( see links above ) We had no issues.
QuestionEverything posted that other newbuilds have had this problem, not just Celebrity.
I've not read of any others, at least not to the degree it's been reported here.

They can move an entertainer, lecturer or someone on staff.
but we had smooth seas and no issues..
Happy you had a quiet cruise. Every time I go to book, I read another review about the noisy cabins.
Considering how few people really post on Cruise Critic vs. the general cruising population....it seems to be quite a problem.
Did you hear others complaining while on the ship?

Wow, it seems the new builds have sound attenuation issues, not just Celebrity.
Thanks.
Which other new builds cruise lines other than Celebrity have this problem?

There's no problem bringing it in. We've done it a couple of times.

that reminds me, my sisters in law were with us and she played roulette and she, of course, had to give her sea pass to get chips and they gave her the wrong card back..that was a bit of a fiasco...going to post tis as a topic for people to be aware of.
Why do you have to give your sea pass? Can't you just give them $$$money?

We had Club Orange on our last cruise (on Rotterdam). We had our TA inquire if Club Orange was available before we booked.
We did receive the famous Club Orange bag and can't wait to take it on our next cruise on Symphony of the Seas!😉

We're in a Loft suite , but not until April. We are so excited! Any tips about CK you can share will be greatly appreciated.
We will definitely book Hooked as a specialty, but don't know what else. If anything. Tell you the truth, I can't remember any specialty on any line that has really stood out.

Maybe you left it in the car.🙏

I'm a little confused about cocktails at dinner.
Do I have to get them from the lounge and then bring them to dinner in CK, or can I order them at dinner (at the table)? I'm speaking about the complimentary ones (not the 4 I get for being Diamond).
Never had a suite on Oasis class.

i understand beer/wine/soda/water is available in the suite lounger from 11 am to 11 pm. I can visualize the beer/soda/water (cans or bottles), but how is the wine handled? Is it small bottles, or a large bottle poured. (I'm assuming it's help yourself, otherwise I guess it's a person that pours).
Symphony of the Seas is the ship.

All good questions. We are on Symphony in April and wonder most about Hooked.
Reviews are all over the place. Menu sounds very appealing.

Just now, doghog said:We were on the Apex March 2023 and had no issues with noise. No matter where we were. Looking forward to our September Edge cruise.
Apex doesn't seem to have the problem.
As I stated, it's Beyond and Ascent.

There are several threads going on for pages that address the noise problems found on Beyond and, to a lesser degree, Ascent.
No one who has recommended these has even mentioned that.

They scoot your luggage away.
We've done it two ways.
1. We drop off the luggage. Then park. I usually go with DH so two of us remember where we've parked.
2. We park first, then drag our luggage with us to the porters then get on. Sometimes it's a mess getting your car to the porters (cabs and other cars). Then you have to get out of that mess and get to the garage. We usually have just two bags and a carry on, so lately I'm finding that easier.

We were in a room with a party going on at 2 am. DH woke me up ...."Do you hear that racket?"
I replied "Well, I do now."
It was in the room and balcony. I agree. It's more than not appropriate.🤑
