I'll never understand how someone can hear of one person's unfortunate incident and based on that decide they'll never choose that cruise line or hotel or resort or whatever.
Don't have to climb into and out of a tub in order to shower. Tub base is three or four inches above bathroom floor making it awkward to step out, and reduces headroom in the shower for anyone six feet or more. Lastly, we shower, not bathe, so tub is unnecessary.
Right. But the highest level at Windstar, reached by us in nine cruises (not 40 or so, like Azamara), gives unlimited, free same-day laundry, not one shared bag on a 13-day cruise (as well as unlimited free wifi). That's free laundry.
Of course, nothing is "free." Everyone understands that. But, if you find yourself with hundreds of OBC dollars remaining late in a cruise, your choice is to let it go to waste or buy overpriced stuff in the shop or spa or on the wine list. That stuff may not be "free" but there's no additional out-of-pocket cost to you to take the stuff home or consume it on the ship.
It's actually quite satisfactory where Starlink has coverage. Where Starlink has no coverage, there is no internet at all. I believe Tony said Colon was an area not covered. There was a full day and also half a day on the Christmas cruise where there was no internet.
We ask for one of these four tables against the wall in the rear corners of Disvoveries as they are relatively private. If one is available, we'll be given it. Cannot imagine tipping the host or hostess.
8056 was quiet. I'd think most of the CC suites aft of the rear elevator would be.
8056 was quiet for 24 nights. Aft of the rear elevator they are generally quiet.
