  1. Nice. Much better option that some are getting (Nassau or PDCC). We are on EX 2-16-25 and have not gotten any notification yet. Hoping for Puerto Plata or Grand Turk.
  2. @jjtt, I also recommend that you drop by Guest Services some time during your first leg and just verify that they have you on the "consecutive cruiser" list. They most likely will, but it never hurts to make SURE they do. If they miss you it could cause a lot of very unfortunate complications come turnaround day.
  3. Agree. I haven't had a Concierge escort me all the way to security in a VERY long time.
  4. Agree with Columbus….but Effectors was ok….once
  5. Thanks ! This is exactly what I thought, but then I got....confused. Thanks for clearing it up.
  6. Chances are very high that you DO already have a cabin assigned, but that they just don't have not yet publicized that information. Information on the website is misleading so I recommend that you either call Royal to see if you can get them to provide you with your cabin # or do the "barcode trick" to see if you can see it. Before you ask how to do the barcode trick, let me tell you that I have never done it, so if you need info on that, either do a search or ask for help from someone that can actually help you !!! 😇
  7. sorry to be dense here....but I guess I'm confused. 1. Have Zeniths always had a pin ? 2. Are they just now being offered a pin ? 3. Are Pinn Z's being offered an X pin ? 4. Are Z Pinn's being offered a Royal pin ?
  8. 😔 One of my bookings will not allow me to see any RU even though I AM within 30 days of my cruise. Sometimes I have to put in my husband's name rather than my own, but even that isn't working this time. No idea why we're being denied but it would probably be a waste of time anyway since all of the suites appear to be booked. We're in a JS....I'll be happy enough with that.
  9. Nevermind. I skipped over the part where you were in a suite....so you could have gotten in anyway.
  10. So, you weren't on an "allowed" list but the Concierge said you could come in, anyway ? Did your card work to gain entrance ?
  11. That’s how long it took for ours. I was actually surprised that we got it that quickly.
  12. @Floating Lanai, have you called to see if your suite has been assigned yet or are you just assuming that it hasn’t been assigned b/c nothing has updated on your booking ? I had some rather fortunate luck recently with a suite guarantee. I noticed that the price for a J3 had fallen below what I paid for the guarantee so I called to have my booking repriced with an assigned JS. The agent that I spoke with informed me that he could not change my booking b/c my suite had already been assigned. I asked him what had been assigned and he told me the suite (it was a J3). The J3 that we had been assigned was way at the back of the ship so I asked if it would be possible, since it had now been assigned, to switch to a different J3 that was closer to the elevators. After a short hold (he had to ask Revenue to make the reservation “permanent” although I’m sure that term is not correct) he came back with a confirmed J3 of our choice. So I recommend that you call, tell them that you’re considering upgrading the booking (even if you’re not considering upgrading) and see if you can get them to confirm whether or not your guarantee has been assigned and perhaps find out which suite you have been assigned. It worked for me and my sailing isn’t until Jan 2025 !
  13. One of the “perks” that is expressly NOT bestowed on Z Pinns is the “Pinnacle Kit”. I assumed (yeah, yeah, I know…) that this was referring to the Pinn pin. I suppose they could give them the pins and just not get the rest out of the kit…which is the comp cruise cert, luggage tags/passport covers. It will be interesting to see… BTW, do X Z’s get similar pins ?
  14. Most likely, you will be able to make the reservations for the second half of your B2B while on your first leg, but there's no guarantee. If you are Diamond or higher or in a full suite, then your odds are significantly better for getting this accomplished. If not, it will just depend on who you ask to help you. Even if you are not able to get it done while on the first leg, you will be among the first people back on the ship on leg #2 and you will be able to get to the kiosk(s) much sooner than most. Unless you have the assistance of one of the Concierges, you will probably have to do the leg work yourself. You would probably do well to just visit each of the restaurants at which you wish to dine on the following leg...maybe the last day of leg #1 and see if the host will make rezzies for you for the following cruise. My guess is, they will. Don't forget about lunch on boarding day ! That will be included in your UDP as well.
  15. I also add an additional Espresso to my Capp. If you don't, you end up with a full cup of warm milk. UGH.
  16. No worries. It can be a confusing perk ! Lots of excluded venues and conflicting info. You can treat anyone you like to a BOGO ! We recently sailed with friends who have no status and we treated them to 2 BOGO meals (one for each of us). It's fun to be able to share with your friends and family who aren't quite "there" yet ! Enjoy !
  17. Casino comps are the worst as far as future FCC's go b/c the amount of the FCC is based on the amount of the cruise fare, which is generally very low. Even if you have upgraded the booking, the FCC is still calculated on the CRUISE FARE line which does not include any of the upgrade $$ since they are casino fund lines and not cruise fare lines.
