  1. You should be able to do it yourself on the app. as soon as you board. Get in line as a back up. I’m not sure where you would go to do it, though.
  2. Yes, you do. They will be charged to your credit card and you can not use OBC to pay for them.
  3. You can buy them on the app now. It’s super easy. Good luck and I am thrilled to see people still excited about cruising.
  4. Just because the bank originally takes your deposit does not mean it can’t come back to you, many months later with your account being debited with possible fees, as well.
  5. I worked for a bank for 25 years. Do not even bother taking it in to your bank. It would just cause more problems if they accepted it in error, then it was returned, you would also be subject to the buy and sell rates, and high service fees. Your best option is to see if they will reissue it, or wire it straight to your bank account.
  6. I am curious about these isolation cabins. I have now read three posts where people were not moved from their inside or window cabins, so why do they need them? I read the website and it does say may be moved… I should have read it closer, though. We are heading out soon for 22 days in an inside…but I think should we get sick, I’ll ask to change to a balcony cabin, since they are obviously holding some back.
  7. Or, they have a very generous TA? I’m with you as many say they were gifted it. I’d like the name of their agent, too.
  8. Try Twitter… it works. You will get their attention fast- likely within a day. Ask me how I know.😉
  9. Why don’t you ask them to switch you both back and have those cabins on the port side for the isolation cabins?
  10. Have you tried sharing your booking number with your friends? They could then phone onto Princess with that number to confirm it can be done.
  11. Not that I will ever get there, but how do you know the cut off number? I don’t see it on the invitation.
  12. We do! Dinner over in time for the 7:30 production show or a trivia game, then head to Explorers, Crooners, or somewhere to catch whatever is going on in there until 11:00 or so. I don’t like all that food sitting in by stomach too late at night, unless we happen to make a stop for a quick at the IC and they have a cookie calling our names. Then, off to bed to relax a bit and get some sleep, so we can enjoy another fabulous day on a ship.
  13. Oh… please make sure you call during the day with enough time to be on hold. EZair dept. closes at 5. PM PST. I’ve called right when I got home from work around 4:00 pm, did the dance with whatever customer representative finally answered the phone. Repeated everything I needed and that I wanted to speak directly with that Dept. They continued to try and fix what I needed. Finally… when I insisted they put me through, she told me that EZAir was now closed and she had been going back and forth with another colleague, trying to help me. From what I now understand and was told by one of their representatives last time, when I had to call again for a different flight, is they are not allowed to just transfer the call. There is also no direct phone line, that I am aware of.
  14. Oh, that’s too bad. Did they have anything fun for St.Patrick’s Day?
  15. Thanks so much for your great report. I look forward to reading the rest when you have time. Maybe l will get to read it while I’m onboard the Crown going to Hawaii in mid April. I believe I’ll have plenty of time for reading then.
  16. Thanks for posting this. I had come across it while looking at another cruise. So, I posted about it on another social media site and many experienced cruisers told me it was nothing new…although I was sure it was. I am not happy about it, at all.
  17. Persons number number one and two in a cabin have to upgrade, even if you wait until you board. I believe that an experienced rep, can make the bookings work. It would take entering some incorrect ages to start with and some fiddling around, but it could be done. In the end, one cabin with standard fare, one with booking package of choice.
  18. Reading through this thread and it sounds like they just need to put together a nice per glass, wine package. So many of you enjoy it. Some people are just happy with a fun cocktail or a beer. I don’t care for any of it, but the cruise lines do need to generate revenue somehow.
  19. I love that people keep trying to get the coffee card swap back. I do feel bad for the staff that have to deal with the question, over and over. Maybe it will be asked enough times that Princess will change it back, just in time for my cruise next month. 😉
  20. I just looked that tour up. It sounds like what they describe, except the lunch sounds better than what you received. The tour actually gets very good reviews and read like what you describe. I always pay close attention to the excursion details and how much time I have to be on a bus or whatever transportation they are providing. Princess might want to change it from a moderate activity, too. I am sorry it was rough for you, I sure would not have enjoyed it. I’m glad there was someone that could prove a quick snack for your wife. That was a long time between eating, for anyone.
  21. I bet things are going to be running late. We booked one to go to snorkelling at Rendezvous Caye, it was fantastic. They picked us up right at the ship, so we didn’t end to tender into the port.
  22. At the very least, please go onto the Princess site, under the excursions, and give a very honest review. It will help the rest of us who might be thinking of taking the same one.
  23. Thanks for the information. I’ll remember your thoughts on it for next time we are there. There is nothing wrong with the free beach there, except you are swimming right by the ship. I love being able to just see ocean all around me.
