Yes you generally can. I’ve moved cruises with a non-refundable deposit. You have to pay a penalty of $50/pp on the booking to do it. But they’re generally happy to help you stay booked on something vs canceling all together.

I’m almost always the higher spender and I don’t get great cruise offers. I don’t know how they calculate it, but I only really get last minute deals that I can’t capitalize on.

Oh for sure it’s more popular. For me, I don’t want to sit at a large table. Not before the pandemic, and not now. But now we have kids who we bring with us, and no everyone would want to dine with them either. So the idea of possibly having table mates with the set time dining just isn’t something I want to deal with. But the flexibility of ATD is awesome and it’s just so convenient especially now with the app.

So as others have said the door hanger is gone, but we didn’t use it or order room service this last cruise for breakfast so I cannot comment on ordering ahead. The ocean suite is larger, but service with it is the same. It does come with priority check in, boarding, and debarking. We really enjoyed our ocean suite on the Mardi Gras. I’ve been on the liberty years ago. There’s plenty of quiet reading places and I still think there’s plenty to do for everyone.

Yes you can. But you need to call, you can’t do it yourself that I know of. They’ll let you do lateral moves and upgrades, but you cannot downgrade. So for instance you can’t go from a suite to a balcony since that’s considered a downgrade.

You do not. Although it still makes you pick an arrival time when you check in online, you would be able to show up and get right into the priority line and head in whenever you arrive.
