We are currently booked in an Aqua Class cabin on Apex. We did put in a move up bid on a suite. We currently have the classic beverage package. I was wondering if we do get our move up bid accepted would we be able to get premium liquor at the retreat sun deck bar. I know we can inside at the retreat lounge but didn't know how it worked at the sun deck bar. Thank you!

Hi. Just my two cents after many Celebrity cruises. I used to always upgrade to the Premium package from the Classic. I personally don't think it's worth it anymore. A lot of the time they do not have the premium wines etc. I find it more cost affective to just pay the additional charge per drink if I want something in the Premium package. They do charge you the difference and not the entire cost. Hope that helps! If you go on Celebrity website or use Google there are lists out there of what is included with each package. PS - as a former bartender - you have to state what brand of liquor you want or you will always get the bar brand. Have a wonderful cruise!

I always bring my Yeti with me. The ice melts SO fast! The bartenders are not allowed to make your drink in your insulated cup/mug. I just pour it into my Yeti and leave their glass on the bar. Have an amazing time! Cruising is the best! 🙂

We have cruised in a few Sky Suites and have never been contacted by anyone before our cruise.

Ever since someone took my clearly marked purple suitcase with bright orange duct tape home with them, we always do! We also book an early morning flight. We definitely have noticed it is getting way more difficult to get on an elevator with your luggage so allow at least an additional 30 minutes for this process and pack your patience. 🙂

When we were in the Retreat Lounge on Equinox in August 2022 there was only bottled water and soda in the little refrigerators.

Elite Plus gets you free coffee drinks at Cafe El Bacio. Between the hours of 5 and 7 which is the Elite Happy Hour you can get bottles of water and cans of soda. Pretty sure while you are playing in the casino you can get free drinks which might include soda and water.

We were on the 8-night Celebrity Equinox 8-21-22. Ship holds 2800 and we were told there were 2100 on board. They are still short on staff. We were told there is a lot of VISA issues with crew coming back.

When we cruised in May on Equinox they did not have any Truly or White Claw just the Kettle One Botanical Spritzers. They were in the Premium package.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your trip and thoughts about the Equinox. She is our favorite ship and we will be doing the same itinerary next Sunday in a Suite. We actually did this same cruise in May in a regular balcony cabin. Our service in the MDR was so slow we only ate there two nights and then after that had dinner in the Ocean View. We loved dining in the Ocean View as we aren't huge eaters and don't like sitting for 2+ hours for dinner. Of course this was before they made it self serve again. I felt bad for the crew in the MDR when we were there. They were obviously short staffed and overwhelmed.

We also received the two different emails and cruise on August 21st. I'm playing it safe and going with the two day instead of three day. I was hoping the testing was going to disappear before our cruise but no longer holding my breath for that to happen.

We had one of the corner S1 suites on Equinox. The room size was amazing. The two negatives we had were the cabin gets extremely hot when the sun is on the back of the ship and we did have a lot of black soot on our balcony and balcony furniture. I personally prefer the S2.

We did 2 cruises last year and used CVS. They stopped doing them at most locations near us. The ones that are doing them require a Minute Clinic visit which they charge for us. I pray they do away with all this nonsense soon! Right now it's the most stressful part of cruising!

Absolutely! We have used it for our last two cruises but they no longer do it for free and in our area you can only schedule a few days out.

Unfortunately with the "Move Up" program I don't see it happening. They will be able to charge someone to move to those cabins.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience. We are sailing in August on an 8 night Equinox cruise in a Sky Suite. We got an amazing rate for a Suite guarantee. This cruise is WAY cheaper then our last cruise in a regular balcony with the perks included - same ship and same itinerary. We are also Elite Plus and not huge drinkers. We have sailed in Suites before so I know we can utilize the Retreat Lounge for drinks but sharing your experience made me feel better about not buying the package. I will bring a couple of bottles of wine onboard and for the occasional drink we will pay as we go. I was more concerned about getting bottled water. Even before the days of "always included" we never had a bar bill more than a couple hundred dollars. Thanks again!

Absolutely LOVING your live review! We did this same ship and itinerary in May and are back on again the end of August. After 30 cruises, Equinox is still our favorite ship! Can't wait for more! Wanda

I stopped booking with Celebrity Air because I am a control freak. The last time I booked AA through Celebrity Air I still couldn't pick our seats after final payment. Evidently they take longer to being "ticketed". Way too stressful for my OCD. LOL!
