Overpriced and the rudest staff we have ever encountered at any hotel. Never again!

This makes me so sad! We were booked on the 12-night Constellation to New Orleans March 1, 2025 which got cut to 8 nights. I cancelled. We also were booked on the Equinox to go to New Orleans during the Jazz Festival and that got cancelled when the world went sideways. I guess it's a sign that we just aren't meant to go there. We have been on over 30+ cruises being very loyal to Celebrity. I think after our 10-night Beyond cruise next April we will start looking elsewhere. Celebrity is obviously looking to cater to "families" with younger kids. We love our grown kids and grandkids but cruise on ships for a more adult vibe. We put our years in on the RCCL family ships.

You can't do it on line you have to call. You also can't combine the discount if it is on sale.

Curious - did the attendant do anything about this situation? We cruise in both suites and non-suites. This behavior happens at every pool deck. The bigger problem besides the ignorant aholes that do this is the cruise line not enforcing the policy to not do this!

I would stick with the 10:10am flight. The airport is 10 minutes from the port. Self disembark and you will have no issues. We have made a 9:30am flight after ours was changed by the airline. We have also made a couple of 10am and 10:30am flights. Just have a back-up plan. 🙂 Our next cruise we fly home the day before Thanksgiving and are on a 10:15am flight.

You did not misunderstand. The prices are "usually" a lot higher with the refundable deposit.

Hyatt Place Cruise Port through Value Trips

We have stayed at both the Pier House and the Hyatt Key Centric. Both are right in the heart of Duval Street. Post covid prices are through the roof! Both great resorts though!

You need to copy and paste your post and email it to the higher ups. I am so sorry this happened to you and glad you were not hurt more seriously. My husband refuses to do any excursions at these ports because of the lack of safety precautions and conditions.

We just got off the Apex last Saturday. This sign was posted outside of Blu. We did not see anyone attempting to enter Blu with shorts on at dinner. We did witness at breakfast a woman and man with baseball caps on and the hostess went over to their table and asked them to remove them.

We just got off of the Apex on Saturday. We were in Aqua and also had one in Aqua on the Edge. Totally not worth the price! I said to my husband on more than one occasion that it is a big picture window that opens. Our next cruise is in a suite on Beyond but after that if we don't have a suite with a real balcony we will go back to the S class ships which we seem to like more or just book an ocean view cabin on E class. We love to sit outside on a real balcony. 🙂

Celebrity can't help. The Move Up is handled by an outside company. I highly doubt they can link "move up" offers together. Since the ships are now sailing pretty full, the "move up deals" aren't what they used to be.

The only ones we have every seen are Arizona Iced Tea. On our last cruise they had none. When they have had them I saw them at the Mast Grill and the Oceanview Bar.

Unfortunately this is the "new" world we live in. We have been cruising for many years and miss the days when the crew actually enforced the rules that they put in place!

Our cruise is April 15, 2023. I received the email for the Move Up on January 30, 2023 and bid the same day. My Move Up bid went "pending" on February 14, 2023 and no ability to modify or cancel it. Not feeling too hopeful as I have read that "pending" does not mean your bid was accepted.
