  1. @JazzyV Yes, epidural steroid without a numbing agent (Bupivicaine is commonly used). I'd been having low back, bilateral hip, thigh, knee & bottom of my feet pain since mid -August....what a relief! He hopes it will last at least 8 months! Get on the Pain peoples cancellation list & keep bugging them. My 1st scheduled appointment hasn't even come up yet & when I called, there had been a cancellation that morning but "We don't start calling that early to fill them" -- she told me to call at 8 a.m. & lo & behold, the next day there was an 8:30 available...needless to say I took it.
  2. I'm never up this early but I got bilateral lumbar spine steroid injections yesterday morning so I haven't slept at all tonight just typical (for me) steroid reaction...no pain but I took a Tramadol around 1:30 a.m. hoping it would put me to sleep....nope.
  3. On the K, I didn't like the open arena concept of both BBK's & the RSRR....neither, IMO, was conducive to just sitting, listening & having a drink or 2.
  4. I, too, have a tummy lump with no diagnosis despite an ultrasound & a CT scan...oh well...
  5. Following --- wanted to do that for our cruise in Feb -- boarding in Hawaii since we've been to all the islands.
  6. When we were on the K in Feb/March (in a Neptune), I thought the carpet in front of the sofa felt damp/wet one morning & ignored it....by the next morning it was really WET!!! told our room steward & it got trouble-shot....don't know what the problem was but they put one of those noisy air blowers in the cabin, gave us a key to another Neptune to use during the day (but not to sleep)....could turn off the blower to sleep. Carpet was still damp the next morning so same drill....it did dry out finally. Interesting side note--- later in the cruise we saw a couple entering our 'vacation' cabin --- wonder if they had some sort of issue too but didn't ask.
  7. I'm in western Washington & saw a normal color wooly bear caterpillar yesterday.....please go away!
  8. Neither have I but I'm looking for a dog stroller for our almost 14 y/o dog & don't want to pay an arm & a leg for a new one that he'll probably not use for long & a friend at the dog park suggested it.
  9. Except in San Diego where you're just jammed into the terminal with everybody else & nobody asks/cares if you're in a Neptune or have Club Orange ---I thought maybe after we'd been 'checked in' we'd be sent to a different area but nope, still with the masses.
  10. I only got the flu & RSV jabs the other day --- felt like _ _ _ _ the next day --- slightly sore arm, achy & nauseous...really glad Safeway didn't have the Covid booster I wanted to get.....
  11. I looked at the ad....could you post a pic of them on you so I can really see them, please? It's the outside height I'm worried about. TIA.
  12. Thanks -- I know about the silicone strip in the back....I'm looking for really low cut footies that are made of whatever panty hose are made of --- nylon maybe --- so they're slippery.
  13. I agree with Post #2 --- I did have some issues in the Tamarind -- what I ordered the 1st time was presented to me, when I ordered the same items the next time I was told, that with my soy allergy, I couldn't have whatever it was.....
  14. The $ store used to sell plastic trays (not huge ones) but big enough....I've got one from about 4-5 years ago...just make sure to pad it well in your suitcase or you'll have plastic shards in with your clothes.
  15. I don't think there is any permanent hair color product that doesn't contain PPD. - I'd be interested in hearing what you find out.
  16. I, too, am allergic to hair dye ... the offending ingredient for me is PPD - it's a really long word that starts with phen..... Clairol makes a demi-permanent hair product without it but none of the colors work for me - you might take a look.
