    For sure I’m following this one. I’ll have to remember to ask you to say hello to Maria if she’s still at the Alchemy Bar. She was GREAT when we were on the Celebration in June.

    My wife and I hung out at Big Bastards when we stopped in St. Maarten in June. We enjoyed the place. Good service. The owners are from Canada (Calgary if I'm not mistaken). Of course, me being a lifelong hockey fan, we talked hockey.

    I’m glad you shared the info on the shirts. I usually buy one or two before each cruise, and will check on the selections on these websites. Here are a few of my latest. I choose to go for the loud colors.

    I swear the Dallas Stars can really make me drink (more). They were up 4-2 against Calgary at home in the 2nd and are now losing 6-4 not even halfway through the 3rd.

    Call me dumb, but I have no idea why they say they can’t do anything about a charge in Galveston. Who cares where you’re located if it’s a charge on THEIR system? I must be missing something.

    If you don’t have to sign for anything, then it’s a battle everyone has to fight if they’re paying attention. That’s just wrong for anyone to have to do. I wonder how much extra money they make on people who don’t pay attention.

    I don’t recall ever having a problem getting a drink out of Galveston on embarkation day. If that’s a regularity on Princess, that’s another reason not to sail on them.

    If this embarkation process is typical for Princess in Galveston, I can say with a high degree of certainty that I won’t be booking a cruise on them. I have zero patience for this lunacy.

    Public shaming (at minimum) of those type of people should be the norm, although I’m not certain they’d care.

    From lost luggage (multiple times), sewage filled hallways at the school, toxic roof work and now this dumb embarkation line, I’m shocked you’re not at high risk for a stroke.

    Must be from someone staying at the Harbor House. I’ve been lucky enough to get a deal 1 time there. Every other time their rate was ridiculous.

    Was I dreaming or were you originally going to stay at Inn at the Waterpark? I also might have missed the part where you said you were or were not going to use the luggage tags this time. That was legit entertaining stuff the last time.

    In a previous job, I spent just over 2 years on and off developing a new medical building for a hospital in downtown Portland. There are some unbelievably terrific restaurants in that area. One of those restaurants was on one of those cobblestone streets that looked like an alley. I’d love to go back there and visit.

    That reminds me. One year at Halloween I opened the front door and there stood a smartly dressed boy, probably about 12, and 2 girls in dresses. He said, “Hi, my name’s Charlie and these are my angels.” I literally laughed and gave them each a handful of candy.

    If you haven't previously eaten at American Social, beware of the possibility of the place sounding like a rock concert throughout the meal. We ate there before our cruise out of Miami in 2018, and won't go back. You can NOT hear the other people at your own table talk due to the loud music. Maybe they've changed that, but it's something to ask about if it would bother you.
