The sister of one of my closest friends ,her 8 children and their families live in Israel.I am worried about them.

I got married in 1967 .At that time there was no though of going somewhere for a wedding other than the area where we lived. One of our daughters got married in 2011 and it was in St.Kitts.

We went to several shows .All none named entertainers who we never heard from again. We have been to casinos all over North America and the Caribbean but our favorites have been in Atlantic City and in NY.Favorite meaning ,we won.

The first time we went to Vegas was in 1996.We stayed at the Luxor which was very different than every other hotel there. I had the idea to go to a casino ar 2 AM .I won $400.00. That was my only winning experience ever in LV

I had a friend who came from Jamaica BWI.His grandmothers specialty dish was pickled pigs feet.

The only time I ever took a subway to a cruise port was in 1973 from Brooklyn to the Manhattan Cruise Port.I was young ,healthy and strong.

We did an Inside once and said never again.We did a balcony twice and I said never again . We were in a Suite once and I said never again. We had a porthole once and I said never again. I love Ocean View cabins with large windows.

I had no interest in trying out for the HS basketball team because the sport that I was best at was Handball.The Coach for the Basketball team was also the Coach for the Handball team.He refused to let me try out even though I had beaten both the Captain and Co-Captain in a park and they both urged the Coach to let me try out. I never received a definitive reason why he would not let me try out.It was his loss because in 1966 I placed 7th.in the United States Handball Association tournament . I began playing serious basketball two years after graduating HS .
