We have been on 8 cruises with friends who are still cruising.The husband of the couple is 92.

I live in Long Island .There are kosher style deli’s but very few that are kosher.My parents had a friend that owned a kosher deli in Brooklyn .It was originally in Crown Heights and moved to the Georgetown section of Brooklyn.When we lived in Canarsie the only kosher deli was Grabsteins .

I rooted for the 1962 Mets to win every game and never give up on my team.

My late mother in law worked in a Brooklyn Bakery that sold delicious baked goods.The bakery’s of our youth are a thing of the past .Referring to Brooklyn.

OMG,you are giving up on the Yankees,that is not a true fan.

Exactly the same here.My phone goes into the room safe on day one and does not come out till the last cruise day.I only take pictures with real but cheap cameras.On a cruise years ago I had a good camera ,dropped it in port on a hard surface and said goodbye to the camera.

When I lived in Brooklyn there were hundreds of kosher deli’s.Currently there are 2.

If the Phillies play the Yankees I will root for them.I have some Philadelphia connections .Two guys that I knew contributed to the game of Basketball in the city:Billy Cunningham and Ed Pinckney .

It is raining in NYC and it will rain tomorrow and Tuesday.I am sure that Houston and the Yankees will be playing tonight.They will not stop the Padres -Phillies game because they have the same weather.

Many years ago I went to visit a friend living in Houston who grew up in NYC.I was invited for what he termed a typical Texas breakfast .Much to my surprise it was bagels and lox.

We have good lox in Long Island .When I was a kid living in Brooklyn every Sunday morning my father went to the local Appetizing store for lox and pickled herring.I loved the taste of the sauce.

I grew up in the Crown Heights section of Brooklyn .The bagels were great. When my wife and I lived in Canarsie from 1967 to 2003.We used to buy bagels from Bell Bagel .We have been living in Long Island nearly 20 years and people buy from a bagel chain ,Bagel Boss.However,my wife makes a trek to still get Bell Bagel who are now in Long Island. My wife had an uncle who was a bagel baker in Brooklyn.

I hope you are feeling a lot better,Greg.In 2018 I fell and broke a wrist several weeks prior to a cruise.Although the cast was off I had to wear a sling on the cruise and it limited my activities.

Does your granddaughter know what she would like to do in Nursing ? For Toby it was a second career.She was initially a Social Worker then went back to college after our second daughter was born.She worked in several Brooklyn hospitals and also was a Visiting Nurse.

I still believe that the Padres will beat the Phillies.Darvish is a better pitcher than Wheeler,Snell is better than Nola .Soto woke up .

I hope the Yankees lose tonight.Houston has won their last 6 games.
